Transportation: its excellent because , Marc Train is on campus and also the bus stop is on campus and can take you to the New Carrolton train station

Transportation: the public transportation seems to be a reasonable price and there is also an Amtrak but not to certain of the cost

Transportation: Really close to the Marc train and local airport.

Transportation: The metro runs right through campus. So, finding a way out is not really a struggle.

Transportation: As far as everything on Bowie's campus is walking distance. If you want to go off-campus it would be preferred to have a car.

Bowie State University is in a very unique location, but transportation around the city of Bowie is not hard to come by. Located inside the campus, there's a MARC bus stop as well as a Metro station. Students are encouraged to utilize these means of transportation.

Bowie State is what most would call a "commuter school." A majority of the students that attend Bowie State University commutes. From carpools to drivers to commuters and faculty members using the Metro, all means of transportation are available for students to take advantage of.
