Campus Strictness: Most of the time if you don't make too much noise or don't visibly break any school rules, you're okay.

Campus Strictness: Getting taken to the hospital from being "too drunk" to get into your dorm is a very nerve racking experience, and ones a few of my friends had to deal with. Not worth it, it's harsh. Same for drinking in the dorms. Harsh punishments.

Campus Strictness: It is very strict but I feel like it is for the best...to ensure everyone is safe.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: The campus is on the stricter side, but it's important since we're in a city.

Campus Strictness: My program is strict in terms of students' academics- no cheating or plagiarizing is tolerated.

Playing it smart seems to be the best bet. Stick to your limits, stay far from University buildings when you expect to party, and if things tend to get out of control, make sure you are not in the dorms. Getting caught with drugs (or alcohol, if you are underage) may result in academic probation or removal from housing on campus. What you get away with depends largely on your housing assignment. Rules vary in strictness from dorm to dorm, and RA to RA.

Even if your RA is extremely lenient with all of the students living on the floor, do not expect to be let off completely. Be extra careful early on in the academic year because BU tends to “send a message” to students before things even get rolling.
