Campus Dining: Boston University has three dining halls on its campus-- one on the eastern side, one on the west, and one in the middle. The eastern dining hall is the newest and nicest, and it includes a variety of vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options. BU also has multiple late-night options, a food court in the student union building, and other places to buy snacks with dining points. I found the number of meals, guest meals, and dining points provided to be more than ample and the quality and variety of food to be fantastic.

Campus Dining: Dining halls are pretty great, and BU had a reputation for having some really awesome health/veg/vegan options. I was usually really satisfied and never left hungry. The GSU is a great place to use convenience points.

5 College Junior

Campus Dining: Lots of dining hall and food options. The dining hall is also actively seeking student feedback to make things even better.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: The new facilities are great, but the quality of the food is just ok. The fresh fruits and vegetables aren't very abundant which doesn't make for great healthy options.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: I like Warren and Bay State for dining halls. Warren at lunch time is overcrowded along with the GSU. The dining hall menus repeat often and get old by the end of the semester. Majority if the food is good though. I feel the dining halls are overpriced.

While it is not uncommon to hear complaints about the food, most students will agree that BU is pretty hooked-up in that department. There is a huge variety and tons of places to use your meal plan around campus. To get your money’s worth, check out the specialty nights and the smaller eateries on campus. Remember, the meals are not refundable, but most of the plans provide many more meal than you'll actually need. If you do the math, each meal costs about $9, so eat up. Even if you just stop by for an ice cream, you may as well use the meals that you are paying for anyway.

The food at BU is conistently ranked one of the best in the country, which means someone’s enjoying it.  The presentation is very well done, too, so even if it doesn’t taste right, it looks like it should. Four years of the same food, however, will dull your taste buds.
