3 College Junior

Weather: I am a student pilot so weather is a major factor but not a good or bad thing.

4 College Freshman

Weather: The weather was really enjoyable this year! It did not get too cold this year. We fluctuated between the winter being warm and really cold. For the most part though the weather was very nice.

5 College Sophomore

Weather: Greenville weather is ridiculously sporadic, from 80 degrees one day to 55 the next day in spring, but it helps to keep life interesting, unpredictable, and spontaneous.

4 College Freshman

Weather: it can be rainy, in the spring - but it is usually lovely weather. Sunny, slightly cloudy, breeze, not too cold in the winter - typical SC

3 College Senior

Weather: The weather tends to be a bit temperamental.

In Greenville, the weather is unpredictable. In winter, it is gloomy and rainy. The rain in Greenville falls sideways because of the wind. The worst part is the freezing side-rain that soaks students’ shoes, book bags, hair, and coats. Finally, spring comes after the freezing winter. Students might think they fought the good fight with cold rain, but the war with weather is not over yet! When spring hits, nasty pollen attacks students’ sinuses. Most students have reactions to the pollen, and a good spring rain is the only relief. Ironically, it does not rain much during the spring.

Waterproof book bags, rain boots, and rain coats are necessary when coming to BJU, along with cozy socks and allergy medicine. The school does a great job of keeping students warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Weather is so unpredictable in Greenville that after staying in Greenville for a few weeks, students will find themselves checking the next few hours' weather on the Internet—just so they know what to expect!
