In Greenville, the weather is unpredictable. In winter, it is gloomy and rainy. The rain in Greenville falls sideways because of the wind. The worst part is the freezing side-rain that soaks students’ shoes, book bags, hair, and coats. Finally, spring comes after the freezing winter. Students might think they fought the good fight with cold rain, but the war with weather is not over yet! When spring hits, nasty pollen attacks students’ sinuses. Most students have reactions to the pollen, and a good spring rain is the only relief. Ironically, it does not rain much during the spring.
Waterproof book bags, rain boots, and rain coats are necessary when coming to BJU, along with cozy socks and allergy medicine. The school does a great job of keeping students warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Weather is so unpredictable in Greenville that after staying in Greenville for a few weeks, students will find themselves checking the next few hours' weather on the Internet—just so they know what to expect!
