4 College Sophomore

Academics: The facilities are great, my profs are excellent, the workload is doable.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: I'm not in to sports and attend very few sporting events. Therefore cannot describe sporting events.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: I feel it's great. Most everyone accepts everyone just the way they are.

1 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: It's non-existant. Everyone is required to live on campus.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Very down to earth with a hometown atmosphere.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: As of right now I think it's great. I have excellent Professors that stick to their curriculums, and the facilities are easily accessible.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The staff have been very helpful. The size of the dorm rooms are quite large which makes it very nice. The cost is a little pricey but comparable to most private universities.

5 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Most of the students who attend Bluffton chose it for it's quality of education and it's Christian environment.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: I come from a small town where there are 3 restaurant's and Bluffton isn't much different, plus I can't afford to eat out anyway.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: They awarded me a $13,000.00 academic award but when other monies became available, instead of awarding me more money they replaced some of the Academic award with other monies.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I have yet to experience any serious problems that would cause me alarm.

2 College Sophomore

Weather: The winter of 2013/14 has been the pits.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: I'm not a student whom skips class for the fun of it. I am not thrilled with the new policy that you need a Doctor's excuse slip to be excused from missing a class, and being able to make up work. I am a student which means I have little or no money to afford seeing a Dr. and as I stated, I don't skip class for the fun of it.

3 College Freshman

Weather: I have grown up in Ohio my whole life so I am used to the bipolar weather. One minute it's raining, the next it's 75 and sunny, then the next day is snows. The campus is beautiful no matter what the weather is like outside.

5 College Freshman

Academics: The expected workload is 2 hours of outside of class work for every one hour in class. In my major the professors are great and they make the classes exciting.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I have really enjoyed being here. I like the students and staff. I enjoy the classes. The professors are friendly and very understanding of things. The dean is very nice and likes to get involved.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I pretty much always feel safe on campus. Even at night when I'm alone. There are a couple security guards that walk around at night to keep a look after things. I never feel unsafe.

3 College Freshman

Computers: There is one computer lab on campus (as far as I know) and there are many computers in it for students to use. The computer lab is open until midnight so students have plenty of time to go throughout the day and after classes at night. Students have printing options such as printing in color and printing double sided. Most students do have personal lap tops just because we like to do our homework in our rooms. There are also computers in the library so if a student wants to do homework there he or she does not have to take his or her laptop.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: All of the residence halls are different. There are two halls with air conditioning, and the others do not have it. I live in a hall without air conditioning and I do not think it's bad. A person can get to anywhere else on campus within a five minute walk. Things are very close and people are very friendly.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: There are different local restaurants in town, and other fast food restaurants nearby (within a 2 minute drive). There is a nature preserve within walking distance, along with other parks, ponds, and lakes. Many members of the community walk through campus and students walk through town. Community members tend to be very friendly.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: Many of the students on campus are very open minded and accepting of people of other races and ethnicity, economic background, political beliefs, religion, and sexual orientation. However, it is a Mennonite college, though less than half of the population is actually Mennonite.

4 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: I think that the strict. No drinking is allowed on campus. Males and females can visit each other in the rooms of the opposite sex during open hours. During the week open hours end at midnight, and on the weekend it ends at 2 am.

4 College Freshman

Majors: I have not yet applied to be accepted into the Social Work program because I have not reached that stage yet. However, I feel that the professors teach very well and get students prepared for the exam.

4 College Freshman

Majors: I really enjoy my major and two minors. All of the classes are nice. There are different clubs that correspond with majors and minors on campus. For example: Social Work Club and Spanish Club.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: The school is in a very small town. Everything is within walking distance and the campus is small so it is very convenient to walk on campus. Students can have their own vehicles on campus, including first year students. It is very nice.
