Facilities: The school has a theatre and community theatre program which is pretty fun to watch and be in. There really aren't many clubs, or at least active clubs. For most kids this is a place to get pre-recs done and save money.

3 College Senior

Student Body: Most student are here to save money or get a free ride for playing a sport. There isn't a lot of student interaction because everyone lives off-campus.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is low because it is a community college. Don't expect to get a scholarship unless you play a sport.

College Senior

Online Courses: I have not take an online course but I know someone who has. The professors are easily accessible through email and as long as you complete the work the class is doable.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: The facilities are average for a community college. We have a swimming pool and a weight room.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: There is an ample amount of computers in the library and labs. The computer are a little bit slow but you can bring your own and use the wireless.

Academic Flexibility: My initial advisor (when I was advised at orientation) did not specialize in my intended major (biology) and did not even put me in the biology class or chemistry. I got into biology but missed out on chemistry. Specifically request an advisor in your area and make sure you are in the necessary classes the first term because in many cases you have to take the series in order and if you miss the first class you are screwed.

College Senior

Academic Experience: The teachers are there to teach and they care about the students. Most classes are small and teachers are easily accessible.

Academic Experience: BMCC provides the basic classes- what you would expect of a community college. There are a lot of agriculture- based classes.

Tuition & Financial Aid: It is worth your pay, classes are small and convenient.

Student Body: The teachers help out, and give personal options on which paths to take.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I felt the online courses on average did not have good support. You were expected to just get in there and do the job. Instructors did not offer speedy feed back or help and seemed to be there for the pay not to help you learn. A couple of my professors were exceptions to this.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The resources on campus are extremely limited and you feel very segrated from the rest of the students. Our campus is old and the floor is falling apart. It is over crouded and does not have enough seats and desks for the students. I think they break the fire code on access to the classrooms.

2 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: We Just Want Your Money – The school did very little to help me with my financial aide I was given more help by fellow students and friends. I feel the teachers are good but that we have manditory classes jsut for the schools to make money and to make us buy books at high prices. Many of the classes do not pertain to what my major is.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: The students in BMCC are either middle aged going back to school to improve career choices or mandated by the state as they are or were in prison and school is a requirement of parole.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I was really nervous to take an online class. I didn't feel that I was very self motivated and didn't feel like I would do my assignments without being in class. The class really ended up being easier than I thought. My teacher communicated with us very well and gave us plenty of time for assignments so if we had any questions about them we would have plenty of time to get a response.

3 College Freshman

Student Body: Many of the people attending this school have jobs and are only on campus for classes. Many people do not get involved in school activities.

4 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education I am getting is worth the effort. However, when I started I did not have a lot of financial aid. The cost of attending is not as expensive as a private college, but every little bit of financial aid helps.

5 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I chose this school because it was close to home. The instructors work with the students to make sure they understand the topic. Instructors are easy to contact and are always willing to help. Class sizes are small and the instructors get to know each individual student.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I was a little nervous about taking online courses, but it was pretty easy once I got used to it. Plus, it was nice not worrying about commuting, especially in the winter!

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education I am receiving is great and worth it.

4 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: The network has always been up and working since I have attended. I've heard maybe twice that it was acting up. Network is pretty fast. Computers are available in every building.

3 College Senior

Career Services: These services are handled by relatively small amount of people, who probably can aid you with a bit of inquiry. Because of the nature of the school, where many students will be continuing their education I feel that these services aren't a large focus.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: Online courses have some advantages like more scheduling options. The classes are handled pretty well although they do lack some of the benefits of hands on learning enviroments.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: The campus is fairly nice. There are features like a gym, pool, theater that are well sized and equipped. There are some areas like the lounge that make it an accessible place to hang out or study.
