Campus Strictness: You follow the rules or your out!

4 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: I have not noticed much about the strictness other than the honor code, which pretty much encompasses all other behavior, in and out of the classroom

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: at first you get the feeling they don't care until they start randomly fining you

4 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: As for things like campus safety and strictness, it's great. Campus Po pretty much stays out of the way until they are needed, but when they are called they are more than great.

4 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Overall the school is very lenient, which I appreciated.

Although the school is religiously affiliated, the campus is not at all uptight or overly strict. There are certain rules and requirements that students may find unfair or unreasonable, but most of them are academics-oriented. Very rarely do the students' complains have anything to do with their freedom to party and to do as they wish. The Campus Police are really there to protect the students, not hunt them down and bust them for perhaps having a little more fun than they need to. Students who do drink and abide by the rules may never get a second glance from security, but those who make fools of themselves and aren't particularly careful may find themselves getting into trouble. As long as you keep it in your dorm room or abide by the `opaque container' rule, you can party as much as you like. Security treats BSC students as though they are responsible and mature, and so long as they act that way, there won't be any problems. Most parties go on without a hitch, so the Campus Police don't have much to regulate anyways. They may make a casual appearance from time to time, but they rarely make a scene or catch students in the act. If you want to see strictness, however, all you have to do is take a trip to the other side of town to Samford University, which is a dry campus and notorious for their strict policies.
