Biola's campus offers a variety of different foods to choose from in the cafeteria, Eagles' Nest, and Common Grounds, but when some of those things get old (especially after your sixth Eagles' burger in a week), students tend to start looking for meals off campus to satiate their hunger. Being located right next to a suburban area, there are plenty of fast food places within spitting distance. Taco Bell and McDonald's are both within a five-minute walk from campus. In addition, slightly "classier" places like Panera Bread and In-N-Out Burger (one of Southern California's biggest bragging rights) are other nearby choices. There are also very nice vegetarian restaurants nearby that are usually family-owned.
If students have friends with cars, whole new worlds are opened, as now they can travel to the Brea Mall, where restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory, BJ's Restaurant, Claim Jumper, and Olive Garden await them. These tend to be pricier, but a lot of students flock to these hot spots for special occasions. Off-campus restaurants are in no way too far to travel to, the farthest of the aforementioned being about four miles away, and are, for the most part, really affordable for a college student's wallet. The biggest problem students will face will be finding a car to transport them.
