5 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Drugs are strictly prohibited, and to my knowledge only very few people partake in them.

Drug Safety: I haven't seen, smelt, or heard of anyone using drugs or alcohol on campus. I have heard of some "underground" parties that go on outside of campus but I don't know who goes or who throws them. It's nice because it actually seems to be a popular thing to be sober all the time, like it's popular to not drink or do drugs and the people who do are more so the ones who are the "odd ones out" so to speak, and even then it's not all that prevalent on campus. Overall it's a great environment because it's practically non-existent.

Drug Safety: There is a zero-tolerance alcohol and drug use on campus. Some student sneak around and do it anyway, but it's not the majority.

Drug Safety: Biola University has a no tolerance drug policy and alcohol policy. As a freshman here at Biola I have not seen or experience any peer pressure to use either. Almost everyone I've come in contact with in my first year on campus are serious students striving to achieve their academic goals, which is one of the reasons I chose this college.

Drug Safety: Drug Safety isn't a problem, since Biola University has a contract that requires all students to not smoke or drink while an enrolled student. That being the case, any sort of alcohol visibility, usage, peer pressure, or policy enforcement is virtually non-existent, not because it isn't a problem that's dealt with, but because it's really obsolete. Most students abide by the contract, but those who don't work hard to do it as privately as possible.

Thankfully, Biola is a school where students aren't peer-pressured into drugs or alcohol. Rather, the students on campus would try to convince their friends not to abuse such substances. Biola students are "on contract," which means that they can't have drugs or drink on campus in the first place, so students aren't even allowed to. Breaking the contract results in expulsion, so most students take this topic very seriously and steer clear of the mere temptation.

Campus Safety is very clear with students, and also keeps them up-to-date on those rare cases where events do occur, but Biola's campus is virtually void of any and all drugs, and has a very good reputation regarding the topic.
