Local Atmosphere: I feel safe within the Biola parameter however, sometimes the surrounding neighborhood can get unsafe.

Diversity: There is enough diversity in the campus to learn new things. However, I believe there could be more diversity such as international students or just different American students.

Overall Experience: There is a smaller population of students and in my major, the class gets smaller each year. But the community, as small as it is, is a good one.

Nightlife: Sometimes night life is great. There are lots of students that will be up until three in the morning hanging out and laughing while being with friends. We like to stay up and hang out or play games late at night and just make memories.

Biola boasts an amazing Christian fellowship that's focused on delivering the Gospel, not only to its students, but to the world surrounding it. In taking classes and attending lectures, students feel much more apt to take on the world, not only with renewed and strengthened faith, but also with a professional education.

Biola can be an adjustment. But once you get involved with on-campus jobs and school events, it becomes much easier. After spending time with the students and faculty, you'll come to realize that you'll never find a school quite like this. But it takes a little bit of work at first. Biola's teaching is amazing, and the community is unparalleled. Nowhere else on Earth can students strike up random conversations with anyone and be able to "Facebook-friend" them and ask them to coffee the very next day. If you value your education and want to surround yourself with God-fearing students serving each other and the Lord, then Biola is the place for you!
