Tuition & Financial Aid: This school is very close to where I live so I dont have to drive very far to get a good education. The school is very easy to navigate around. I am going toward nursing and Big Sandy is very helpful on trying to help me achieve. I get some financial aid and it helps some. This makes my second year going and I could not be happier!

Academic Flexibility: It's very easy to find help. Where the school isn't that big, the teachers will even stay in class if needed or if they have time to help.

4 College Senior

Student Body: There's not many people that go to Big Sandy, which is great. Easier to find help if you need it.

Campus Resources: There is always computers available for student use. There is computer stations in every classroom with wireless internet available. There is also access to printers.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: There is a wide variety of programs offered at my school. They also have various locations each offering different programs of study (not absolutely positive on this). They offer certificates, diploma and associate degree programs of study. They have lots of different classes which I find to be very fulfilling because there is something for everyone. The professors are very helpful and actually seem to be interested in helping you achieve your goals. I guess what I am trying to say is they are genuine, that is something hard to find now days.

5 College Senior

Career Services: I am not sure how to answer this question because I have not looked into any of this.

5 College Senior

Online Courses: I have taken about half of my classes online and I find to a very helpful. The programs that my school uses goes through a program called Blackboard and is very user-friendly. I don't believe that online classes are for everyone but is mainly suited for self-motivated people. There is a little interaction between student and professor. From my experience the professors have always been very quick at responding to emails and gives very descriptive response. I have learned just as much from my online classes as I have those I attended in person. In my opinion online classes are very valuable asset to the school.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I have had every good interactions with facticalty. They have been very helpful in resolving the troubles that I have had arise. I have not had any problems so far with getting my classes scheduled around my lifestyle.

2 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have only qualified for loans to finance my education. I have not got any kind of scholarship even though I have a 4.0 gpa and I work very hard, I believe myself to be in need of financial help I am mother of 2 (teenage) boys. My husband is the sole provider of our family and we have more bills than the average person and I still don't receive any help other than loans. I have also been denied a payment plan. I believe that this school could indeed do better when it comes to helping students pay their tuition.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: I really have no opinion on the internship/job opportunities as of yet. I have not had the opportunity to participate in this program. I can attest to the experiences that I have had so far and I find that they have all been wonderful and very helpful in attaining my goals. I would recommend this school to others. The instructors are very clear and concise in their lectures, they are also willing to offer the extra help if needed.

3 College Freshman

Online Courses: It all depends on the teacher that you get and how much they really care about teaching you. In some online classes you can learn a lot and in some it is just busy work.

5 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: It is not very expensive to go here and my full financial aid covers most of my expenses.
