3 College Junior

Online Courses: Online courses are very different than actually being in class. Mostly because I am a visual learner and it helps me to see the teacher.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I love Bevill because it is close to home, and has a great student teacher ratio.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I can complete academics for post grad work. I plan to transfer to a local University.

3 College Junior

Student Body: Our school is very diverse but you can always find someone to talk to.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: It is definitely hard to be in Nursing but my teachers work with us.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Every class I have ever taken at Bevill has always had some assistant or helper we could talk to.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The school has a great selection between morning and evening classes to work around anyone's schedule.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is a lot less expensive than the Universities. I feel I am getting a good education.

4 College Junior

Facilities: Bevill State has a really unique program called Torch where High school students get to compete in their best skills for scholarships at the school.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Bevill State is great because there is free wifi all over the campus; which is very helpful in class.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The library is a quiet and great place to go study.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: There is not anything unique except having a math class specifically for teaching elementary educaton.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is a great amount for a community college. All financial aid help are straightforward and very helpful.

4 College Junior

Facilities: Every student usually knows or get to know everyone on campus. We have a Campus Ministries club that the students put together and found a sponsor on their own. There is a nice park across the street with a walking track and plenty of places to relax or study.

Academic Flexibility: Academic flexibility is top-quality. Courses generally have more than one option for scheduling, allowing students to manage other areas of life.

Facilities: What sets my school apart from others is that it is conveniently located in my hometown. It is a short drive from home. Faculty and staff are very polite and care about students' education. Faculty and staff are also very uplifting.

Student Body: A typical student at my school is a young, recent high school graduate, starting college career for the first time. I would like to see student body diversity enhance in the future, forming clubs and organizations important to the college experience. The school has a wide range of political and religious orientations.

Academic Experience: Unique aspects of being a Biology Major at my school: environmental studying, classroom lectures, informational lab sessions; variety of information; very enthusiastic instructing. The workload is not overbearing when you enjoy what you're being taught and you enjoy your instructor's passion for Biology.

Academic Experience: Academics offered at my school are endless. The professors are empowering and offer all their resources to you, showing interest in students' success. Programs offered here range from Nursing to Engineering to Arts, etc.

Career Services: My rating is not applicable, as I am still pursuing my current degree path and am not post-graduate. However, I have had the opportunity of working with Career Services on campus and the staff in this department are extraordinary. With much information to provide, the ladies and gentlemen of the department work very hard to aide in helping the customer pursue his/her career path(s).

Online Courses: Online courses are great, super convenient for busy students who are full-time and/or work and/or have children. Taking an online course means you have power to control time spent "in class" and power to manage school along with family, work, etc. Professor/student relationship and peer-to-peer interaction are enhanced, as everyone is able to contact each other anywhere, any time of the day, as long as they have internet connection. This aspect makes life easier; it is convenient for everyone. Registration process is user-friendly; the student is able to register for his/her courses online without leaving the house. I am a believer of online courses, but it is not for everyone as it requires discipline in time management and commitment.

Campus Resources: Resources on campus are endless. Faculty and staff are readily willing to offer every bit of help they can and put forth interest in the education of college students. The athletic center is conveniently located on campus and staffed with personal trainers. The student center is a comfortable place for students to study, eat, or play games. Campus activites are always fun and student-oriented.

4 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: The computer network is always available for use, as many instructors upload class resources for students to have access to anywhere there is internet connection. Wireless internet is always available, generally. Computer labs are located all over campus, housed with up-to-date computers for both student and community use, with students being top-priority.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Amount of money paid out-of-pocket was acceptable in conjunction with the amount of credit hours taken.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: There are a variety of academics offered at my school. The professors are great at what they do. The curriculum is challenging yet rewarding once completed. The class registration process is simple and easy; students can speak with their advisor or some may have access to register online if they know the classes they have to take. Programs associated with my school include nursing, welding technology, etc...
