Health & Safety:
Bethel University is ranked in the top 2 of secure campuses in the area. I feel incredibly safe on campus.
The atmosphere of the Twin Cities is wonderful. The hustle and bustle of this artsy city with a dozen colleges/universities within 20 minutes of the city provides an energetic atmosphere. There is always something to do whether it is going shopping at the Mall of America, walking around the myriad of lakes, or attending traveling musicals at the theaters. The Cities are a healthy place with an acknowledgement and acceptance of the large student population. Minneapolis/St. Paul have one of the top ethnically diverse populations in the country which provides for a rich cultural array.
There is no specific off campus housing available to students through Bethel University. It is a possibility, but Bethel does not play any role in management.
I applied for financial aid at the school and received the aid I needed. I do not have any specific tips for getting financial aid, but the Financial Aid office is very helpful.
The transportation options are fairly limited but they service fairly well. There is a shuttle that runs to the mall (which has food options, and a theater, as well as lots of department stores), and one that runs to a SuperTarget. This shuttle is free of charge and runs consistently and dependably. This is very convenient and serves well. However, there is no direct connection from the college to the city or the airport, which can prove problematic at some points. Mostly, I rely on friends who have cars to take me where I need to go.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
