2 College Junior

Nightlife: there is only one bar in town. it is a good distance away from the campus. walking there would not be a problem. make sure you do not get too drunk walking back or you could get ticketed for public intoxication. there are small clubs in the nearby towns of salina and mcpherson. for the big country club you will have to drive 45 minutes to wichita.

Computers: the is free wireless for the students but it is not always reliable. the tech people have just updated the system though. there are two computer labs and there are usually plenty of computers available. sometimes the speed of the network is slow, but there are also a lot of students on al at once throughout the day and night.

Off-Campus Dining: there are a few restaurants off- campus. they are mostly in the town. but they are pretty cheap and have good food. they stay open usually until 10 pm for the students on campus that miss the on- campus meals.

2 College Junior

Campus Dining: there are meals three times a day and they have a kiosk for any one that misses one of the meals. but everything is pricey and the food quality is okay. it is hard to eat healthy at the school and feel like you received your moneys worth. they only give out two different meal plans for people who live on campus. both cost a lot and the difference is only$100 a month.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: you receive some financial aid but usually not as much as you need to make sure you do not leave with a lot of debt. they could give out bigger scholarships to the students who do a lot on the campus.

4 College Junior

Parking: there are a lot of parking lots on campus. it is all free and there is no parking permit. you just have to make sure to keep out of the visitor and handicap parking spots. but both of these are clearly labeled. the parking spots near the dorms fill up quickly, but there is usually some parking near the gym (except game days). the campus is small so the most it takes to get anywhere on campus is 6 minutes.

3 College Junior

Facilities: the facilities are not as modern and updated as they should be. there are a lot of places to study and have two computer labs and some more in the library. printing is free. in the dorms the washing machines and dryers are free to use.the newest update is in the Nelson science building with the 3 new labs. the school likes to "be green". there are recycling bins in every building. the nelson coffee shop uses green based cups. the prices for the drinks are well in the range for college students.

3 College Junior

Weather: it depends if you like cold weather or not. in the winter it is very cold and there is a lot of snow and ice. the other seasons are diverse. it can be hot or cold. especially when the seasons start transitioning into another one.

3 College Junior

Drug Safety: most of the students on campus drink. a few of them do drugs. these are both not allowed on campus because we are a drug and alcohol free school. however, you cannot go to any parties were the presence of alcohol is not present. a lot of the students are so bored at the small college that they spend their Friday nights and weekends drinking.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: the town is so small that we mostly use the police of lindsborg. they patrol the streets and bust parties that could potentially have underage students in them. we do have campus security, but you mostly only see them at night when they lock up and make their nightly tours. the lindborg police are always near by so i feel comfortable walking around at night by myself.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: some of the teachers i would question if they even want to teach college students. some of the teachers do not teach teach the material very well but then give the students a test. the students do not know what is going on in the class and some of the teachers do not care if you fail. however, some of the teachers do care and it shows. the grades increase and the knowledge for that subject also increase.
the atmosphere is good at the school. they always have some kind of event going on that keeps the students occupied.
the facilities at the campus could improve. most of the dorms are very run down. improving the living conditions at the school would improve the schools ratings.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The school is okay, I just don't like being here.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Almost everyone at this school is an athlete.

3 College Freshman

Majors: The teachers do a good job at teaching the majors.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: I don't really know anything about the Greek life.

2 College Freshman

Campus Dining: Not very good at all.

1 College Freshman

Scholarships: School here is so freaking expensive!

3 College Freshman

Parking: I don't own a car.

3 College Freshman

Weather: Average weather everyday. A little chilly.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: I have to go to a different town to eat late at night.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Average campus housing, nothing great.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: easy to apply and get into class. must meet school requirements on high school or junior college transfer grades

3 College Sophomore

Majors: Experience based education (ebe) are available and are usually required for a degree. the availability of place to intern at are endless whether it be in the surrounding towns or back home

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: old campus but functions well for all its needs, while up to date renovations keep it in the current century.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: some very nice guys and girls who mean the best in everything they do.
