Drug Safety: Campus police bust anyone dumb enough to make a public scene about their drugs/alchohol

Drug Safety: I never see any drugs or alcohol around campus (Berry is a dry campus after all). However, students talk about drugs. I prefer to stay away from both drugs and alcohol, but I have heard they are both easy to find if you look for them.

Drug Safety: In the four years i attended, I was never approached by anyone selling drugs and only knew of a few guys that i thought might be using some. it's a pretty wholesome atmosphere at Berry.

Drug Safety: Even though Berry is a strictly dry and drug-free campus (according to policy), I still happen to stumble into incidents that are....less than appealing. These things are mostly hidden, but students know they're happening. One thing I don't like about college campuses -- drinking is like a cockroach: near impossible to die out.

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: It's whom you associate with. The drug scene is not bad and very few reported oncampus incidents.

Berry is a dry campus, but students often refer to it as "the wettest dry campus in Georgia." Although drugs are not that prominent, they are still seen from time to time at parties, and students know where to get them if they want them bad enough. Alcohol is the most common drug on campus. With a larger class size every year, there has been an increase of reported incidents concerning alcohol. If students are caught, they report to Residence Life and the Dean of Students, but students who have had to go through that process are not intimidated by it, and it is not said to have had a lasting impression on them.

Because of Berry's conservative nature, hard drugs are not a huge issue on campus. Students do drink, and alcohol is easy to find, but carelessness is what causes problems for the rest of campus. There are bars around Rome that are student friendly. Just remain safe and make sure you find a responsible designated driver.
