4 College Senior

Facilities: Beautiful, gorgeous, state of the art and the list goes on except one. THE FOOD IS TERRIBLE.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: Great program. Small class. Business courses revolve around ethics (Bentley is the holy grail of business ethics fyi) which is interesting at the same time relevant to this much more demanding world we live in.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: Career service is top notch. Make sure you attend the CDI 101, which is a career development class during freshman year. They will hold your hand until you get ajob.

Greek Life: Cliquey, but they are nice to GDIs

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: RA's are way too strict but mainly only for freshman. They are always on duty though, which can make everyone's lives harder sometimes.

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: The school is amazing about giving the right amount of money to get students to attend.

2 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Way too apathetic. Nobody cares about anything; it might as well be one of the adjectives listed around campus

3 College Freshman

Majors: Bentley is good about offering opportunities.

2 College Freshman

Majors: I would not go to Bentley if I had to all over again

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are some quality places around town if you know where they are.

5 College Freshman

Computers: Bentley is very technologically advanced, and it shows

Drug Safety: Bentley is pretty strict about freshman drinking, but don't be stupid and you'll be fine.

Academics: There's actually a lot to gain from the classes here; just make sure you like business.

2 College Freshman

Greek Life: I'm in a fraternity and it's an awesome time, but the Greek culture as a whole is extremely lacking. 3 sororities and 8 fraternities.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: International students make up just under 1/3 of the students at Bentley; other than that it's a bunch of preppy white kids who all for some reason love to play basketball.

Transportation: Taking the shuttle is the only way to really get into Boston as a freshman, unless you want to buy a zip car. Once you are a sophomore you can have a car on campus though

Off-Campus Housing: Not many people live off campus, living in a suburb of Boston is very expensive. Also great housing options of apartments and suites on campus most students live on campus

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: The free shuttle to harvard square is available but sometimes not the most convenient because of times but it is good to get to the T-Stop then you can take the T to Logan or to the North/South Station for the bus or train.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: When the weather is nice everyone is outside on the greenspace and its great. However its a long winter from when you get from winter break until about May.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: It not that great but you can still manage to have a good time. Greek life is often parting off campus but its mostly only freshman or other Greek life members who go to the frats. A lot upperclassmen go bars and there always buses going into Boston all the time. Thursday night every 21+ goes to the same bar (Skellig). For people not 21 most partying happens in dorm rooms or a few office campus houses (Lax, football). A lot of people have fake ID's to get into the bars.

Health & Safety: Campus is lit up and the have the blue light phones for emergencys. Police will drive you if you feel unsafe walking but I never feel unsafe. Did have some robberies earlier this year but they think the suspects were not students.

Academics: Great academics however they are challenging and requires a lot of studying (depending on the major). Marketing majors have it easier than accounting majors. Great professors and lots of study areas. Huge business focus in all classes and huge emphasis on group projects.

5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Moody Street and Main Street offer many options for off-campus dining. Tend to typically go back to the same spot but there are plenty of options.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Must fill out the FAFSA and CSS profile which a little confusing but ultimately worth it.

5 College Sophomore

Majors: There are no difficulties or challanges into getting into a major. Everyone comes in as business undecided and then declares sophomore year. Its not a hard process at all, just get some papers signed and meet with the department head. Also very easy to switch majors.

The Bentley experience is hardly a normal college experience, and the majority of students here would choose Bentley again in a heartbeat. From day one, you are set on a track to receive a unique business education. Hard work and effort are mandatory, but the rewards are endless. The combination of intense business and fun liberal arts courses creates well-rounded students that employers love to sign on. Students who are unhappy with their Bentley experience are usually those who find the school to be more business-focused than they had expected. But those who become immersed in the atmosphere always find it to be exciting, strenuous, and worth while.

Bentley students have the opportunity to interact with professors who are leaders in the field, learn from renowned companies in the classroom, and have access to the latest technology. This creates a distinctive class of business schools in which Bentley is quickly becoming a leader. From the relatively diverse campus to the professor-student relationships and general campus life, the University is so much more than "just a business school." If you want to have a college experience that you can reflect back on and say you received an excellent real-world business education, were exposed to state-of-the-art technology, and had a good time while doing it, then Bentley is for you.
