The career center is helpful with finding a job. When you are finishing up your degree, the career center has lots of job postings. The center can help students get started with the transition and answer all of your questions. Many students can get jobs after graduation through the career center. There are also workshops for practicing your interview skills, and professionals can look over your resume and critique it. This helps many students improve their skills so they can land a job straight out of college. In addition to workshops, there are job fairs held on campus, where students can easily find a job.
There is on-campus recruiting every week in the cafeteria. Students can also make an online account with the career center website. There are two account types: one for students and one for employers. It is called Connect. Connect is a free resource for Bellevue College students, alumni, and community members. Connect contains announcements for jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities. You can apply for many of these positions directly through the site. You can also upload your resume, connect with a professional mentor, and find job-search resources.
