4 College Junior

Majors: The only obstacle I have gone through would be a lunch meeting with the Chair of the department in order to become a Criminal Justice major.

5 College Junior

Majors: I love my program. It is very rewarding and as mentioned my advisor is great. The program is hands on which is awesome.

4 College Junior

Diversity: Everyone is pretty accepting of each other on campus regardless of the topic.

College Junior

Greek Life: We do not have Greek Life on out campus.

Local Atmosphere: The town the school is placed in is a very snobby town. They do not really like the school being there but they will be nice to us if they see us going for a walk. There is nothing to do in Longmeadow except get frozen yogurt.

3 College Junior

Campus Dining: The food is decent, most of the time. The hours are not very convenient and if you have a class from 4:30-5:45 and then a class from 6:00-9:00 forget about eating dinner.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: The rooms are bigger than average sized dorm rooms which is a major plus. The best option for the dorm rooms would be Wright Hall.

4 College Junior

Facilities: The Dining Commons are a terrific place to hang out or to get work done. The campus is beautiful. WE NEED AN ATHLETIC CENTER!!! The only thing the school is lacking is an athletic center. We have so many student athletes who should have a place to exercise their talents on a normal basis.

Facilities: Bay Path College is one of the most close-knit communities I have ever seen. The institution operates so smooth due to the communication efforts put in place by everyone involved.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I would definitely choose Bay Path if I had to go through it again.

College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I live on campus, therefore it is difficult for me to rate this aspect of the college.

Academics: The professors at Bay Path College are extremely caring. They want to see their students excel in life! Popular study areas include the dining hall which is always available, with access to fruit and drinks during the day. At night, popular study areas include any of the academic buildings or our tutoring center. No matter what time of day there will always be an available quiet area to study.

Academics: Being a Criminal Justice major at Bay Path College is very honoring! The workload is heavy and the curriculum is difficult but it is necessary for any job you would obtain with this degree. As a Criminal Justice major, I need to complete 2 different 120 hour internships. This helps give a better overview of the field. My advisor, Elizabeth Dineen, who is the chair of the department, is incredible. She is tough but caring. She is a terrific motivation for anyone who wants to work hard. Her background as an attorney makes her perfect for the position she is in. Attorney Dineen is one of the most respected professors on campus and rightfully so.

Health & Safety: I feel very safe on my campus. There are rarely any nerve-provoking events that take place and when they do immediate action is always taken. There are times when I leave my dorm room unlocked during the day because I do not worry about my belongings being taken.

College Senior

Guys & Girls: Bay Path is a women's college. The guys on campus are boyfriends of students or Master's degree students and are few.

College Senior

Campus Housing: I do not live on campus, I commute every day. I have spent a night in the dorms for orientation and they were a good size and my roommate and I enjoyed ourselves.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: I transferred from a community college to Bay Path. The transfer admissions director was amazing. She made the process go smoothly and ensured I was placed in the right classes and that all my credits were accepted. I chose Bay Path because they offered a degree in Forensic Science, my original career goal. After I talked with Dawn about which major I would declare, I decided on Criminal Justice because I was not the best with science. I wanted to help people realize there is more the life than crime.

Off-Campus Dining: Being just outside the city, there are many options, however they are difficult to get to. Therefore the only options available to students are just within a mile or two radius. I am a commuter, so it is easier for me to find other options in the area. Those who live on campus without a car have the option of using a campus bicycle to get around or ask a friend for a ride. Most places in the area are chain restaurants. There are a few great family-owned places near campus, but it is only a few. I noticed in the dorms they have delivery menus, so they have those options as well.

Diversity: Bay Path is a Women's college. I do not want this changed, I believe that having classes with only women makes focusing better, for me. The school is open to all people of every background, ethnicity, language, and sexual orientation. Even the professors are as diverse as the students. The theme of Bay Path is to Be Bold which focuses on individuality. We are all unique and Bay Path teaches us to embrace it in the accepting atmosphere it provides.

Majors: I begin my internship in a few days. I have met with my supervisor there and with the mentors on campus and am excited to begin this experience. My supervisor is fun and flexible with me in that he works around my work schedule. The mentors gave me all the things I needed to know to ensure I get the most out f my internship.

5 College Senior

Majors: I am in the Criminal Justice program and the chair of the department is extremely driven to help everyone achieve greatness. She finds the most qualified professors to teach us and I have loved each and every class I've taken. Each program allows for and encourages a minor, I have taken on a Forensic Psychology minor. I want to be a probation officer and each professor has given me the tools I need to achieve that goal.

5 College Senior

Campus Housing: Wright hall is so perfect.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: I haven't made a lot of friends but classes are fun.

3 College Senior

Athletics: I'm not into the sports honestly.

3 College Senior

Campus Strictness: Super strict about drinking even if you're of age.

At Bay Path College you get a unique college experience. It is a small, private college for girls where you can really explore your options and find your individual major and degree. The academics here are extensive, and the professors are fair and just. They enjoy teaching and challenge their students on every aspect of their learning. The professors also try their hardest to get to know their students so they can assist them to their fullest extent. The staff are fun and friendly, eager to help, and do what they can to keep the students enthusiastic about their education. The other students are nice and cordial, and the class sizes are small enough that no one really feels forgotten in a discussion because everyone gets a chance to speak their mind. The campus is well kept and absolutely beautiful, situated in a quiet and safe neighborhood.

Overall, Bay Path has a comfortable and wonderful atmosphere. Being here is good for those students who wish to devote themselves to academics. The Student Event Committee has fun events every weekend and some weekdays, so the routine of classes doesn't become too tedious. Even if there is nothing going on, students can find others with similar interests and make their own fun through clubs and teams. The only thing that a student really has to do is put themselves out there and find people they can talk to and spend time with easily. Bay Path helps with that, even, with leadership courses to encourage the students to move out of their comfort zone. Some people might be anxious and slightly nervous about leaving their comfort zone, but being in college with so much freedom at your hands will eventually lead to that point, so why not learn early? As challenging as making the transition to college can be, Bay Path offers services, people, and activities to help students make that transition an easier thing.
