5 College Junior

Campus Strictness: Most of the students are very responsible and do not cause problems or concern with the administration.

5 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Bastyr students are health conscious and environmentally conscious and their interests and dress reflect that.

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I live in Seattle where there are many housing options.

College Junior

Campus Housing: I live off campus. I have toured the campus housing and am impressed.

5 College Junior

Diversity: Students from all over the world attend the school and everyone is accepted.

1 College Junior

Nightlife: Students are more focused on studying than partying.

5 College Junior

Facilities: Herb gardens, green housing, state parks with hiking trails create a beautiful surrounding for learning.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Off campus dining is far away. Bastyr has a great cafeteria, so great there is no need to leave campus.

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: Students have many people to turn to for help on campus.

2 College Junior

Athletics: Bastyr is a natural medicine college that lacks an athletic department. There is a tennis court and a state park just off campus with hiking trails.

1 College Junior

Greek Life: No greek life at the university. No need for special housing or greeks versus non greeks.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Small class sizes allow for great discussions and assistance from professors.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Volunteer work is required for graduating which makes connecting to the field easier.

Nightlife: Ummm, There is a bar across the street. I think people go downtown if they want ti party, but I don't think it is a very big concern.

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: The students here are health minding and serious about their academic pursuits. Drugs and parties are not a big part of the culture here.

Scholarships: Apply for FAFSA and scholarships. They don't offer a lot of scholarships, but every little bit helps.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Housing close to the school is very expensive, the most expensive rents I have ever seen. A lot of people commute very far to afford where they live.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: It is a very Caucasian school, but there are a fair number for minorities and international students.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: It is a lot of really hard work. Time-consuming and demanding academics. The instructors demand excellence from every student. That is why this school has a great reputation.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: The internships for my program are relatively easy to find because there are not many people in the field. I haven't begun the process yet, but I am not worried.

1 College Sophomore

Greek Life: No Greek houses or organizations.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: It is a pretty secluded campus. I have heard of backpacks getting stole, but no other crimes.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I don't live on campus, but I wish I did. The buildings are new with a common kitchen. I hear that the rooms are small, but that keeps life simple while you study.
