Academics: I love being an education major. Most teachers try to make learning fun, since they weren't always professors. They understand lecturing isn't interesting, so most of them provide activities and alternative teaching methods. Work load is heavy but most of it is still easy, just tedious. I only know one teacher in that department who lectures and you can still get an easy A if you at least try. Professors are also extremely supportive and understanding no matter what circumstances you have, just make sure you let them know ahead of time instead of on the spot. The only thing really is you can't miss a lot of days, not only because you miss a lot of information but also education professors usually know when you're playing hookie and will count you absent. Always have proof of your absences!

Academics: They have a good variety, but if you plan on doing something extremely specific, more than likely Barton isn't the place for you. Lots of students transfer for that reason. They don't have very many masters programs as well, so make sure to do your research. Professors vary, depending on your major, you will always have your good and bad teachers. One thing I like about the classrooms is how small they are. You will always get the chance to have your say and input in the class. The only bad thing is, you really can't get away with texting or sleeping in class. The most popular study areas here are nursing, education, business, and criminal justice.

Academics: My program has a lot to offer from facilities to the teachers vast knowledge. The workload is fair because teachers give work as they feel the students need more help with.
