4 Recent Alumnus

Athletics: Football and tailgating have the biggest crowd

5 College Freshman

Athletics: They have just added a whole new building on campus where the atmosphere is welcoming to those who are athletes as well as those that are not.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: Not a huge emphasis on varsity sports. Good facilities.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: Worthern Arena is very nice. The football stadium is aswell, but it is depressing to know that we could have gotten the Papa John's Stadium and didnt.

Most Popular Sports
Varsity sports attendance at Ball State is dismal. People who do go to BSU athletic events usually attend football or basketball games. Aside from that, girlfriends/boyfriends and the odd family member tend to be the only ones in the bleachers.
Most Overlooked Teams
Students don't pay much attention to any of Ball State's teams, though some students say that the women's volleyball team is deserving of more attention.
School Spirit
For the most part, Ball State students are pretty apathetic when it comes to school pride. Attendance at sporting events is dismal, and the student government struggles to find and keep delegates, especially for the off-campus constituency.
Getting Tickets
Tickets are generally easy to get and are free for students who present a valid Ball State ID.
Best Place to Take a Walk
The woods behind Worthen Arena or around campus in general
