Online Courses: I took a few online courses during the summer so that I may be able to travel and it was the best thing I did. It helped me to be more productive on the computer and learn a new experience. The professors were also a great help because they were available to me at all times. The other thing was that there are forums so that we may communicate with our fellow classmates about anything concerning the course or even to form some type of study group or get a study buddy. The work for each course I have taken was not overwhelming and I was able to understand my tasks for the course. I would take online classes again and I would recommend it for parents who have little ones at home.

Overall Experience: I've only ad one teacher that I did not like the way he taught, however, he was a great person outside of the classroom.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I am part of the MESA organization and the administrator there constantly sends us emails for new internships and job opportunities available to us.

Tuition & Financial Aid: It's kind of a pain because they are unclear what they need from the tax return from the last financial aid application.

2 College Freshman

Campus Resources: Most of the counselers can't answer a lot of questions that I have asked.

College Freshman

Career Services: I haven't used the Career Service at Bakersfield College.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I love the prerequisite classes for the nursing program. They are challenging but provide so much information to prepare for the program

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Some of the professors are amazing. They show interest in the students understanding the information being presented

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I had a great and easy experience when applying for financial aid.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: I love the labs and the models available

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I would choose my school again because of its excellent nursing program

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I don't have any complications with registering for classes to fit my schedule.

3 College Senior

Student Body: There's a lot of ethnic diversity, political diversity, religious diversity, but not much economic diversity. Sexual diversity is hard to find because of the surrounding neighborhood looking down on LGBTQ people.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: It was an alright experience. If I had to choose again, I'd do it out of ease of how transfer students are able to get out of the college to go to a better one.

College Senior

Career Services: I did not graduate from here.

3 College Senior

Facilities: BC is known for pumping out great engineering and agriculture students.

2 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Unless you're super poor, a single parent, or some other such person with extreme need you are probably not going to receive financial aid. The tuition also goes up each year.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: For a community college it is nice, I guess. Campus activities are not that common, though.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: My major is very hard to find at a community college, so I had to resort to Biology. The Biology curriculum is difficult, with a heavy workload but I come to expect that from a science major.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: I would say it is average for a community college. I really liked my professors because they were always willing to help me out and kept open office hours. The curriculums always met CSU or UC standards.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I did not see too many issues with having to switch classes around, I was usually able to get all the classes I needed. Sometimes, there are often waitlists and that makes it hard to enter a class if you are on a lower number of the wait list.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: I had a difficult time with a few online courses.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: am not getting financial aid

4 College Senior

Online Courses: they are differ because they help you with the registration and the professors help you the most

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: i would choose uei college again because there very helpful they helped me on my worst but with there help it was easy to get over wiith it
