I like the ease of being able to study when I can. I'm a single mom and work full time, so online classes are the only way I can attend college.
To truly reflect Baker College of Flint, it would not be accurate to describe the student population. The student population is very diverse with their race, ethnicity, interests, work ethics, and socioeconomic status. Since Baker College is a career-oriented school, it is best to review the amount of jobs post-graduate level students have earned a job through Baker College.
However, because the student body is so diverse, challenges include keeping an open mind to other people's background, sometimes working with other students, and understanding their culture. On the other hand, because Baker College of Flint is so diverse in many ways, it prepares students for working in the real world because of the contact of many different people.
Most of the students in the online school situation are very green about life.
A lot of young students gun-ho about trying to learn irrelevant information on how they should proceed in life.
The new college classroom does not care about the older crowd and if they will succeed in finding a new job after school.
Very disappointing the way the system works now.
It is what it is, this problem will always exist.
I don't have contact with other students - because I am in an online setting.
Many students meet before classes and after to perform study sessions.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
