College Student

Campus Resources: I take classes online so I wouldn't be able to accuraetly rate and or review the schools network.

5 College Student

Student Body: Since most of us go to school online we are very hardworking and motivated. Always willing to help one another, you just need to ask.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Everything is pretty straight forward. Easy access to applying for student loans and other finical aid. Very helpful and knowledgable staff. Just make sure you have all documentation together and everything will be a piece of cake.

Online Courses: One of the best colleges for online learning. Having taken online classes at other institutions i'd have to say Baker is one of the best. Easy registration process, love the open enrollment, education for everyone.

Overall Experience: So far the overall experience has been great. Going to school online is very intense and you have to be very self motivated because it is a totally different way of learning. I do find that you learn much better in a classroom situation. You have the advantage to ask questions or speak with the teacher after class. However the classes are accelerated, you save a lot of time driving to school and getting stuck in traffic. You do your assignments and exams at your convenience as long as they are handed in by each weeks due date.

Facilities: I go to school online. This gives me a lot of flexibility to study around my work schedule.

3 College Senior

Career Services: I go to school online. N/A

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: I'm an accounting major and the workload is heavy because the classes are 6 weeks long. I go to school online so, there is no opportunity for an internship. This is a great disadvantage.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Most of the professors are great. It depends, just like any other school. You should always go the www.ratemyprofessors.com website to get some insight on the professor. The workload is heavy. Tutors are available..

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: You can go to school online 24/7. You can work around your work schedule.However. like any other school you do have due date for homework, exams, and you have to log into the blackboard 6 out of 7 day and post substantial material that is related to the week's course material. it was easy to transfer credits.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The courses are very reasonable in comparison to other online schools. Many online schools require you to take 2 six week courses at a time. This is not a requirement at my school. Since I go to school online I have easy access to financial aid. Unlike going to school on campus, where you have to make an appointment to discuss any issue with financial aid. The financial aid process is comparable to any other school. Except it's done online.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: The courses are accelerated. They are six weeks long, intense and much hard then regular classes on campus. You have to be very self motivated to attend classes online

Campus Resources: Blackboard seems to go down a lot.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I'm studying accounting. It's a lot of work (16 credits/quarter while working full time) but it will be worth it in the end.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Everything is pretty user-friendly (when it's operating).

3 College Freshman

Facilities: It seems like my school requires a lot of frivilous classes.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I take online classes so I do school work when I'm not working or at one of my kids' events.

2 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: Baker doesn't offer much to online students.

College Freshman

Career Services: I already have a good job, I will seek advancement within my current company.

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: I have had really great experiences with my online professors.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I like the convenience of the school but wish they had more textbooks online.
