3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I feel very safe on campus at least until 8pm. There is always someone around but late at night campus police is more spread out and the neighborhood is not the best. It is dangerous walking back from a 10 pm class when you are walking through the main parking lot though. Since it is empty people drive like crazy and enter from places they are not supposed to.

Health & Safety: Campus safety during the day is great but at nighttime it's usually better if you're walking with a group and not by yourself.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: The university takes the security and safety of students very seriously, they take extra precaution to make sure all students are safe.

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: I feel very safe on campus, even walking around past two in the morning. There are campus safety workers who patrol throughout the night. These are mostly students, however, are led by private officers who have past experience in law enforcement and lead these student workers diligently. They are mostly used as a deterrent, which has proved to be very effective on college campuses. However, they do have very efficient policies and procedures in place and are equipped to handle potential danger. They additionally partner closely with the city police department, who frequently patrol the campus as well. They have a Rape Aggression Defense course available to students, and do educate students on how to avoid potential crimes such as theft.

Health & Safety: Although we do have a health clinic, it is not the best in terms of speedy coverage.
