Off-Campus Dining: There is a wide variety of both chain and local restaurants. The prices are pretty decent as well.

Scholarships: I received an excellent amount of financial aid--the school does a great job recognizing students' achievements and rewarding them accordingly.

Parking: Parking can be hard at certain hours in the day, but is not impossible. There is plenty of space on our West campus. The only downside is that each student with a car MUST purchase a parking permit which can cost up to $250.

Health & Safety: We have a great campus safety at Azusa Pacific. There are always security around the perimeter of the school as well as various points on campus. There are emergency call poles everywhere. They offer a shuttle bus for those who are walking from East to West campus late at night

4 College Junior

Majors: They have a wide variety of optional majors to choose from, there is something for everyone.

Academics: This school offers plenty of options for any degree program. All programs are rigorous but you feel like you are learning useful information and it's not all just busy work.

Weather: Gorgeous, sunny southern California weather, who could complain?

Athletics: We just transitioned up to NCAA and so far it has been an exciting change. Excited to see how this new level of competition affects our program!

College Junior

Greek Life: There is no greek life at APU but the campus constantly has things going on through the residence life and communiversity offices!

Local Atmosphere: The area right around campus is continually improving which is wonderful! In addition to that you have everything from skiing in the mountains to beautiful beaches within an hour from campus. Add to that attractions like downtown LA, Disney Land, and soooo much more and you will never run out of new things to do, places to eat, or things to see!

Parking: Freshmen are discouraged from bringing cars and if they do, they must park on West Campus which is a long walk from the dorms. Main campus parking is very limited and only available to commuter students. Arrive early! Keep in mind that staff and faculty are allowed to park here too as well as any visitors. Parking at the mods and apartments is limited also and many students have to park on the street, where they're competing with residents of surrounding homes and apartments for spaces.

3 College Junior

Computers: They're always breaking down, especially in Darling library!

Campus Strictness: The school is very strict it is a dry campus which i feel is great in certain aspects. Academics are also great having such high standards makes it better for the students because it is only bettering our education.

Diversity: APU is not very diverse it is talked about one time through out the year in chapel but as much as they try and say they are diverse they are not. They also do not address sexual orientation.

Majors: I am currently a freshman and do not have an intern. I am not concerned about having an intern before graduation. The department requires students to take a internship as a required class. The department itself connects the student to the internship. There are also opportunities and resources on campus that connect the student to other companies for internships outside of campus.

Majors: The psychology department at Azusa Pacific University is one of the best departments on this campus. The members on the board of the psychology department are all recognized professors at this college. They take the time to engage students in the practice. From what I understand, the work load is light the first year and becomes more challenging into your college career. There are a lot of prerequisites in this program and all classes must be taken in order. Around Junior and Senior year students begin studying research methods and internships. So far it is going well for me.

Off-Campus Housing: The off. Campus housing your soph year is pretty decent. It still close to campus and safe

Health & Safety: I have always felt really safe on campus. There are always campus security avaliable at all times, and are keeping the students informed about what is happennig around or on-campus that isn't safe.

4 College Sophomore

Weather: Usually very nice and pretty, it can get hot though.

5 College Senior

Academics: Class sizes are small so it's easier to get to know the profs better and they definitely help out.

5 College Senior

Academics: Our BSW program is one of the best and it definitely prepares you for Master's program. Many students go on to get full ride scholarships at top schools around the country.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: APU offers almost every kind of sport, some teams doing better than others. The athletes and coaches are some of the most inspired people I've ever known!

College Freshman

Greek Life: No Greek here - and to be honest, the sisterhood I have with my roommates and the others in my hall are just as good, maybe even better!

5 College Freshman

Weather: Beautiful weather! You can get to the mountains and the beach in the same day!
