Greek Life: I'm a new student and am not aware of anything out side of my classes and women's basketball . Sorry. Was forced to select letter to proceed but it's not valid

Transportation: We have trolly's that take us from West campus to East campus. They are a bit unreliable. Sometimes I find myself waiting upwards of ten minutes for a trolly and at that point it just becomes more convenient to walk. However, the trolly usually arrives in 3-15 minutes depending on what time of day it is.

Off-Campus Dining: The places right by us include Applebee's, Panda Express, the Habit, Jamba Juice, Chipotle, Pink Berry, Yogurtland, and this awesome Korean place. The costs range from 4 to 15 dollars depending on what you buy. If you're smart with you're money, you can probably get a good meal for a bout 6 dollars.

Local Atmosphere: There is a shopping center less than a quarter of a mile off campus that includes a movie theatre, some clothing stores, and tons of places to eat. APU encourages us to discover the city by offering numerous ministry opportunities that range from local ministry to out of the country.

Off-Campus Dining: There are plenty of cheap and tasty places to eat within walking distance of APU. I believe that is what college students want, more bang for their buck!

Majors: For being a small, Christian college, there are a wide variety of majors at APU. As a biblical studies major, the education for this major is top notch because of the school. I love my major. Although, I wish I could have more teachers with a more liberal point of view for the sake of teaching me a more broad scope of ideas. Overall, I love what I am being taught. I would do it over again. My career goals are to be a social worker and work for non-profit organizations. I am worried that jobs are limited in this field.

Guys & Girls: The guys are very outgoing and easy to get along with. The girls are slightly stuck up. It is harder to make friends with the girls, but they are still nice and very religious.

Transportation: Public Transportation around Azusa is poor. There are public buses, but to get from here to Los Angeles is expensive and it is also dangerous. However the transportation on campus is good. There are trolleys running in between campuses and campus safety will pick you up when you call them.

Local Atmosphere: Our campus is surrounded by desert. The movies and the mall are close by though.

Nightlife: Most things close early. No good night clubs around our school.

Campus Housing: living spaces and campus is very clean and there is always some form of activity going on with the residence

Campus Strictness: We have a great honor code. We were given a speach against plagarism in each class. We are not allowed to drink or have visitors after hours.

4 College Junior

Transportation: There are two seperate campuses that are not very far from each other. We have 2 buses, that run at a convenient schedule.

4 College Junior

Nightlife: Students usually attend sport events. We also have events such as open mic, where students are able to present different poems or other type of expression. We also have beneficial events such as Campus Mentor events. You attend some type of dinner, and get to know the school staff, and agree upon who will be your mentor.

Drug Safety: I'm sure this type of thing happens but I have never seen it.

Academics: I am a transfer student Computer science major. I was hoping to complete the program in 2 years but I'm now told it is impossible to do just because how the program is structured. Aside from that it is great. I came expecting to work hard and that has been the case. The pay off at the end is worth it.

Transportation: The trolley is a wonderful resource but sometimes it is difficult to actually get on the trolley and there are times that the trolley is no where to be found! But it is a great resource for students. And it is very difficult to ever find parking!

4 College Senior

Facilities: There is always something going on, on campus! Campus life, student life, residence life, etc have planned amazing events for students to get to know each other!

Drug Safety: I have not seen any drug or alcohol use, although I have heard of parties with alcohol. If you do not hang out with those people, you will not encounter it.

4 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: They plan a lot of fun events for different groups on campus. However, they do not allow people with no meal plan enter certain dining halls.
