Computers: The network at APU is sometimes slow, especially when busy during finals. Library is very crowded on Sundays and at night time during the week, so bringing a personal computer is a good idea.If you do not own one, it will not be a huge problem as long as you can prioritize homework and get it done early throughout the week. Printing at the library costs money and sometimes there is a line, so doing your printing early (not right before an assignment is due) is necessary.

Athletics: Varsity Sports at APU are HUGE! We just moved up to the NCAA so that just rings true to our excellence in all Cougar sports! I love going to football and basketball games. All of the students dress up and go crazy in the "Blackout" cheering section. All Cougar athletics are top-notch and doing great this season! Go Cougars!

Weather: It is, for the most part, always sunny and beautiful! But that truly is Southern California wherever you go!

Off-Campus Dining: There are many fast-food restaurants, including a Chik-Fil-A which is opening this month just around campus. There are nice restaurants and local places within walking distance, and much variety just a short drive away.

Guys & Girls: The guy to girl ratio is pretty slim. Although there are males on campus the girls are pretty dominant in numbers on campus. Though, everyone is pretty friendly.

Majors: I am enjoying my major program. I am a phsyc major and at the begining of the year we were sent to an event to learn mpre about our majors. In this event all teachers in the department of your major had to be there, They each introduced themself and what specific class they taught. After that they had a time where you could go and talk with any of the professors and ask any questions. All of the professors were professional, nice, and had a personality.

Computers: The schools computers are very nice, and the internet is relitively fast. It may take a minute to log into the computer using your own information but it dosent take to long. I would say the same for printing. The printers are also very nice and the system for putting money on your own account in order to print may be slightly more difficult but its not bad at all. Printing is only 10 cents a page, and same goes for copies.

Local Atmosphere: The city isnt the best area to walk in by yourself if you walk to far but it has a stong sense of community, and there is a shopping area catacorner to the school with a Ross, Styles for Less, Apple Bees, a movie theater, and a few other nice places

Drug Safety: APU is no top of it, but there is always those people that still get away with it. They take action if they catch someone, but they also show a lot of grace. Peer pressure is definitely present everywhere, but APU is not any different than anywhere else.

Parking: It is pretty expensive for a parking permit, but there is always a spot. The campus safety is pretty good on giving tickets, so don't try and get away with it. Tickets are very expensive!

Weather: The weather here in Azusa is amazing. There is a perfect balance between sunny, rainy, gloomy, and windy. Everything is so much better with better weather. We never see snow, but other than that we get most of the different selections of weather.

Academics: I am a business major and I feel blessed by the people I have met and the events the School of Business holds for us to learn and grow.

1 College Student

Local Atmosphere: The Town of azusa is not very nice and there are not many things to do for fun unless you drive to a neighboring town

2 College Student

Transportation: The campus is split into two that are about 1/2 a mile apart. the school provides a trolly system to take you between the campuses. Their is a train not far from the campus and a bus stop outside of campus but. The school doesn't offer airport shuttles which is a hassle.

3 College Student

Scholarships: The School offers really good scholarships that you are guaranteed if your academic history falls into the standards. Other then that the school doesn't have scholarships unless they are need-based

Off-Campus Dining: There are a few dining options within walking distance of the campus, however they are not very healthy options. If you have a car, there are many towns with excellent dinging places within a 30 minute drive. Pasadena, Glendora, and the city of LA have a variety of options if you are able and willing to drive.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Teh city of Azusa isn't the nicest but it is really pretty, and the location is great because its about 45 minutes away from everything! Disney land, the O.C., downtown LA, and Old Town Pasedena is close and great!

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: The off campus living is good, not the newest but good enough!

5 College Sophomore

Weather: There weather is not to hot and not to cold. I love the weather here!

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: They seem good but it is NAIA. However, there has been some great athletes that have come from here. I think the facilities could be improved to aid in athletic development.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: You can find good housing. Glendora is a town within a mile or two of the school and the living conditions are great. There seems to be a low crime rate and the people are very friendly. Also, it is very close to nice shops and grocery stores.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: Facilites are good. The weight room could be better. It seems that the athletes share a lot with the students and I think that there should be more facilities dedicated for athletes only.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: Location is great. Classrooms are great for learning.

5 College Senior

Majors: The Applied Health Major is bar none. It is difficult and rewarding. Prepares The students extremely well for graduate school and life in general. Our students are more prepared than any I've interacted with.

1 College Junior

Parking: There isn't much need for a car on campus but there is not enough convenient parking for students. There is a large parking lot, it's just not close enough to east campus to feel worthwhile.
