Guys & Girls: Many of the guys are 5'8" or under. Some come off as flamboyant but overall they are all really great guys. It is to make great guy friends. Th girls are all super friendly. Not to many "catty" girls. Over all everyone at APU is super nice and friendly.

Health & Safety: The campus safety is always present throughout the day and especially at night doing patrols around campus form 6 pm -2 am. They really make the campus feel safe. They send out a bulletin to all the students when ever a crime or security threat happens in the area. The campus safety will also send an person to escort you across campus at night.

Athletics: Sports are a very big thing at APU. There is always fan support at the athletic events. Most people go to the sporting events.

Drug Safety: A christian university so not much drug use. However, there is still some drug use but it is more hidden.

5 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Well it's located in a small town but is very close to downtown Los Angeles. There are many things to do in the local cities around it so you're never bored.

Campus Housing: The On-Campus Housing is excellent. The facilities are some of the best that have been remodeled and look awesome.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Security is always present. They always send emails to alert us of campus safety

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: The drug scene at APU is not that big. Drinking is the popular thing to do.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The campus safety people in my schools just walk around while texting. They do not take their jobs seriously.

Academics: The classes here are amazing. All of the professors are really passionate about their subjects and about caring for the students. I've never had a professor here who didn't go above and beyond the call of duty to love their students and help them through anything, whether it was regarding the class or not.

Off-Campus Dining: There is a wide variety of both chain and local restaurants. The prices are pretty decent as well.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: I received an excellent amount of financial aid--the school does a great job recognizing students' achievements and rewarding them accordingly.

Parking: Parking can be hard at certain hours in the day, but is not impossible. There is plenty of space on our West campus. The only downside is that each student with a car MUST purchase a parking permit which can cost up to $250.

Health & Safety: We have a great campus safety at Azusa Pacific. There are always security around the perimeter of the school as well as various points on campus. There are emergency call poles everywhere. They offer a shuttle bus for those who are walking from East to West campus late at night

4 College Junior

Majors: They have a wide variety of optional majors to choose from, there is something for everyone.

Academics: This school offers plenty of options for any degree program. All programs are rigorous but you feel like you are learning useful information and it's not all just busy work.

Weather: Gorgeous, sunny southern California weather, who could complain?

Athletics: We just transitioned up to NCAA and so far it has been an exciting change. Excited to see how this new level of competition affects our program!

College Junior

Greek Life: There is no greek life at APU but the campus constantly has things going on through the residence life and communiversity offices!

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: The area right around campus is continually improving which is wonderful! In addition to that you have everything from skiing in the mountains to beautiful beaches within an hour from campus. Add to that attractions like downtown LA, Disney Land, and soooo much more and you will never run out of new things to do, places to eat, or things to see!

Parking: Freshmen are discouraged from bringing cars and if they do, they must park on West Campus which is a long walk from the dorms. Main campus parking is very limited and only available to commuter students. Arrive early! Keep in mind that staff and faculty are allowed to park here too as well as any visitors. Parking at the mods and apartments is limited also and many students have to park on the street, where they're competing with residents of surrounding homes and apartments for spaces.

3 College Junior

Computers: They're always breaking down, especially in Darling library!

3 College Junior

Campus Strictness: The school is very strict it is a dry campus which i feel is great in certain aspects. Academics are also great having such high standards makes it better for the students because it is only bettering our education.

Diversity: APU is not very diverse it is talked about one time through out the year in chapel but as much as they try and say they are diverse they are not. They also do not address sexual orientation.

Majors: I am currently a freshman and do not have an intern. I am not concerned about having an intern before graduation. The department requires students to take a internship as a required class. The department itself connects the student to the internship. There are also opportunities and resources on campus that connect the student to other companies for internships outside of campus.
