3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love this school but I'm not sure it's worth the money.

Weather: The local weather is horrible. When the trolley is too full or too slow and you're late for class, it sucks to have to do the 12 minute walk in the insanely hot weather

4 College Freshman

Drug Safety: I don't hear anything about drugs here. Maybe I'm oblivious but..

3 College Freshman

Academics: My major is great but it is the hardest at my school. I wish they had major specific tutors.

4 College Freshman

Academics: Academics are great. All the teachers are awesome.

Campus Dining: Campus dining is a hit or miss. The cafeteria serves the same thing every week and the meat in the den always seems a bit undercooked.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: The trolleys are good but they need more. The number of people that are shoved into one trolley has to be illegal.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Lots of fast food places but nothing to keep it interesting. Only one place has a student discount and it is a very small one at that.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I usually feel safe on campus. The only time I don't is when I am walking from campus to campus at night and I can't get ahold of campus security to escort me.

3 College Student

Scholarships: They only have two positions for any kind of department scholarship per cohort and beyond that they advocate loans unless you get outside scholarships. My advice is SCHOLARSHIPS SCHOLARSHIPS SCHOLARSHIPS! Don't automatically agree to loans without at least attempting for other sources.

5 College Student

Majors: I greatly enjoy my program. No program or faculty are perfect, but I greatly enjoy where I am at.

4 College Student

Majors: I am pursuing a doctorate in psychology, and the faculty is very knowledgeable. I am a teaching and research assistant so I get to work within the department for a tuition which I enjoy but there are only two per cohort. However, there are other teaching and research assistant positions with individual professors.

4 College Student

Facilities: The facilities are good. There are plenty of classrooms. I enjoy the architecture...once you understand it.

4 College Student

Local Atmosphere: I'm a small town girl from northern California so I enjoy the small town feel of Glendora/Azusa. There's movies and plenty to eat nearby and if you wanted something more to do, there are plenty of things within a decent driving distance. Because I am in grad school, I do not go out a lot but I enjoy where I am. The community around the school and in is very friendly, but there are frequent email notifications about things happening around Azusa at night so don't be in the dark alone in a secluded area to stay safe.

2 College Sophomore

Parking: Parking sucks. Do not expect to go out anywhere after 6 because you will not find a parking spot.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: There are many pros and cos in the city of Azusa. Everything is located at a walking distance such as, grocery stores, a movie theatre, fast foods, and other stores. There are always reports of break-ins and violent incidents nearby.

2 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Nightlife in Azusa really sucks. There are very few options. Everything else is located at least 20 minutes away.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: You do not need to buy a printer. There are plenty of printers in the libraries and computer labs. However, it might be convenient to have your own printer when you just finished a paper at 3 in the morning and need to print it out.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: For a Christian school, I understand all the policies and regulations. The school is trying to make everyones experience an ultimate experience. The school is very strict about curfew, alcohol, and drug use.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: There are plenty of options whether you want to build your own salad at the Quikimart or if you are in the mood for chinese or a burger from the Canyon Grill. The best place to go is the Cougar's Den to build your own pizza. The only downfall to everything is its price.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: We have an excellent community. We often gather together for tea, bon fires, or have events such as Sundae-Mondays and waffle Wednesdays. The school keeps the living areas clean. The grass is always cut and not once have I seen any trash on the floor. However, finding parking in my living area is always a hassle.

4 College Sophomore

Weather: Walking from campus to campus in the middle of summer is horrid!

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: We have a great staff that is willing to assist and help any student. However, the tuition on campus is so high that financial aid, multiple loans, and scholarships were not able to cover all my expenses.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: This campus provides free shuttles to and from the different campus. there is public transportation but I chose to use my skateboard to get to and from the shops.

3 College Freshman

Academics: At this time I'm still taking my general education. I'm only taking one class that is related to my major. The workload I have now is filled with term papers. There are many job opportunities that come along with this major.
