Academics: The APS program at Azusa Pacific University provided me with a solid foundation in disciplines such as language/literature, mathematics, science, social sciences, humanities, and religion, along with human growth and development, diversity in the classroom, and introductory teaching concepts.

Majors: My major is Psychology. One of the requirements in order to graduate is that you have to have an intership. This intership must be relavent to your major, most professors will suggest that you do an intership in the area in which you plan to work in. For example someone with an emphasis in sports psychology will find and intership as an assistant coach or something related.

Currenlty I do not have an interhsip, however I am volunteering, in order to use my current volunteer postion as an internship in the future.

Scholarships: The financial aid office failed to tell me in detail the different forms tha they wanted me to turn. I was sending forms through email two days before school began, I almost did attend college. You have to be on top of things, emailing them constanly and always asking questions if you are not sure about something. Always email them before starting the semester in order to prevent any unexpected surprises

Diversity: Since APOU is an online school, you get to meet different people from around the country. Although most of the students at APOU are white, there other students who come from different ethnic backgrounds. APOU is college that asks its students to explore outside their comfort zone and to respect others differences wheter they be religious, polictical, or social.

Scholarships: I received the financial aid that I needed. They were in contact with me often and stayed on top of any forms that needed to be completed.

Off-Campus Dining: every restaurant that i have dine in has the feeling of coziness and home. Very friendly people. It feels that they all are cheering you on.

4 College Junior

Computers: computer lab has plenty of computers and very knowledgable staff.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: average size campus beautiful and safe place to be. accesable campus police. The campus has free trolley service. it almost looks like San Francisco.

5 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Azusa has multiple nearby shoping facilities. great community
