3 College Junior

Campus Dining: food is okay on occasions and great on other occasions. Great new dining hall opened up so it's better now.

4 College Junior

Academics: This is a great, quality education. I feel like I'm getting more out of my classes and it's more hands-on.

2 College Junior

Facilities: They are average to slightly bad and everything is kind of old

1 College Junior

Transportation: Middle of nowhere and everything is accessible only by car

1 College Junior

Campus Dining: HORRIBLE. The cafeteria food is ridiculously bad and the only other options are Subway and fast food.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: There is a variety of courses to choose from, but some of the professors aren't interested in their students. Overall, the academics are average.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: The process is tedious and I had to contact them multiple times just to get a response.

2 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: My parents won't let me drive in college, and everything remotely "close" to Avila is 15-20 minute drive. There are next to no food options near campus except for fast food.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: The police are really strict but you can get away with things.

5 College Junior

Drug Safety: I have not heard any of the students talking about any kind of drug activity. They all seem to be into athletics of some sort and take it seriously. You never hear any of them talking about their wild and crazy weekends.

4 College Junior

Computers: I give them just an A and not an A+, because there aren't computer labs in each building. The computers are located in the library and I've never had any trouble getting on one. You can print in the library and seems to be very reasonable. Network reliability and speed are quite efficient.

5 College Junior

Facilities: I have found the library to be quite adequate. The library has plenty of computers and lots of space to study. All around campus, you can find places to study. There are always different events going on around the campus.

5 College Junior

Facilities: Avila is a very friendly school. I transferred from a community college that I thought was great, but Avila is even better. I absolutely love all of my teachers, they are so helpful in every way possible. Students seem to be so polite. The facilities are close together and there are even tunnels connecting some of the buildings, which makes things a lot easier.

5 College Junior

Athletics: I give the athletics at Avila an A+ because of the spirit the athletes show. They all seem to work hard at their classes and show their spirit by all wearing Avila shirts together as a team, on certain occasions. Also, the teachers are very supportive of the athletes. They inquire about upcoming games and always ask how the weekend games went.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: There are of course parties at the school but not as many as you would have at a larger public school.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: The restaurants are located by town center, or on the Plaza, so it is a drive to go there, but not a super long drive. It will take you about 15 minutes at the most. The restaurants are kind of expensive, but there are cheaper options as well such as a Chilis. There are also fast food options near by such as a McDonalds.

5 College Junior

Facilities: I am in the Radiology program at Avila and I feel very accepted here. There hasn't been one time that I have felt like I don't belong. The teachers want you to succeed and care about the grades that you are getting. They will also provide you with the tutoring from other places if they can't provide an explanation that will make sense to you.

5 College Junior

Diversity: There are people from all over the world that come to Avila University. We have a lot of international students that we have classes with and have chances to interact with. We also have classes that help us to get involved with them, such as communications. Although Avila is small, we have a lot of different types of people that attend the school and everyone is very accepting of the differences.

College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: There are no off campus housing options that are associated with the school.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: The campus is quiet and very accepting of its students.

2 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: No Man's Land – nothing super-close, and only one place on campus. have to drive to get to anything.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: Looking for a Space – since i commute in the evenings, generally can find a spot. parking lot lighting could be better, however, in the far-reaching lots.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: seems average, thus the C rating. good mix of caucasian and african-american with some asian.

5 College Sophomore

Athletics: Our sports team went state and are high peformers.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Safe Place – I feel safe because Avila security is ever present among us including the faculty take it seriously to prevent crime and personal safety for college student who attend.
