Academic Experience: If there is an answer we cant answer. They explain how to get our answers. And why its the answer.

Academic Experience: There is someone to help you with amy questions we may have.

Career Services: The school has a Career Services and Student Support team that are all about their jobs. They have a lot of job fairs at the school where airlines and aircraft manufacturers come and hire students for internships and post-graduate careers. The VA Career Services staff member even came around to the classrooms and got our resumes so she could give copies to the employers for us. That was really nice of her.

Online Courses: This school does not offer online classes. There is no way that you could properly learn how to do aircraft maintenance without hands on shop time. We fixed and fired up a small Cessna jet last Thursday. You can't do that online.

Academic Experience: It's like I get a high from learning and stretching my mind. My third week of class I learned that gravity affects light. I love it.

The workload is not too much. At first, it seems like it, but then once you get used to they way they teach it really isn't. All the teachers I have had have been more than accommodating and offer tutoring if you need it.

The job opportunities are tremendous. There is such a demand for this field here in the United States and then you can also work anywhere in the world. It's awesome.

Academic Experience: Since this is a trade school there is no hassle to take a bunch of "General Requirement" classes. You begin learning about aviation and aerodynamics straight away. The classes are fast paced and focused. Instead of having 3 or 4 different classes a day, you learn one subject at a time. Every week you have a final exam on what you learned that week and then on to the next subject. It is a fast paced program.

Facilities: The school's only focus is to teach the trades. They give no attention to study areas, art or any kind of physical fitness areas like a college campus. This school has one focus and one goal and that is to get aviation mechanics certified and working in the field.

Academic Flexibility: This establishment is not flexible at all. If you miss too much time (1 day and 1/2 hour) they put you out and then you have to retake that whole term. If you fail a test and then fail the retake, you're out. They pretty much have the attitude that you either want this training or you don't and they are not going to accommodate you at all.

Overall Experience: The school is awesome, the support they give you make it impossible for you to fail unless you simply don't try. It is a great place to learn this craft. I am so proud of myself for choosing this field and this school. Everytime I get an A on an exam I rejoice inside because I am getting closer and closer to the career I choose for me. Yeah!!!

Campus Resources: I get every single thing I need for support in achieving my academic goals at this school. We have a huge hanger with so many different kinds of jets and planes and jet parts, tools and equipment. Oh yeah, the school has a Welding Dept as well and that's their entire focus.

Student Body: A lot of the students work full or part-time jobs. There are many different ethnic backrounds. There are many different age groups. I'm 40 and I can't get enough of this school. It is stretching my mind but the teachers break the information down so well, I GET IT! I got an A in my Physics and Math classes and I have been out of school for YYEEEAAARRRSS :-)

Tuition & Financial Aid: This school is so motivated to help you get in and accomplish your goals in the field of Aviation. IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. I am so encouraged from the stories that my teachers share about the lives that they have been afforded to live through the exciting careers in Aviation they've had. I have realized that all my dreams of the life I want are EXTREMELY possible through this field. As a matter of fact, my current teacher owns his own Aviation Maintenance & repair business, he owns his own plane, has his pilot's license and a terrific life.

My experience with the Financial Aid Dept. was unbelieveable. They made it so quick and painless.

Campus Resources: I use the computers in the library often. They could use more computers cause you just can't have too many at a school with so many students. Some days the server runs slow which is very annoying but I am always able to accomplish my daily goals. I don't have a laptop yet so I can't comment on the wi-fi.
