4 College Junior

Academics: The professors are intelligent, knowledgeable and and want the students to excel.

4 College Junior

Academics: It is great being a criminal justice major here, the professors are very knowledgeable and help bring back alumni to give presentations to students about jobs in law enforcement. Also have job fairs throughout the year just for law enforcement on special days. The small classroom size is my favorite! The teachers know you by name. Lots of internship opportunities in all of the programs here on campus.

4 College Junior

Academics: There are a variety of classes and majors offered here at school. the curriculum allows for students to easily double major or major and minor together. Professors are knowledgeable and help the students succeed.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: The academics at my school are pretty ordinary. A lot of the professors at my school are alumni. The registration process is really easy. And if there are any questions about any of it the staff is very willing to help. The work load here is pretty average, nothing completely overwhelming. If you have trouble with your workload or any classes we have a success center with tutors for every class you can think of, and the tutors, who are fellow students, are willing to work with your schedule to help you.

3 College Junior

Academics: Averett offers many undergrad courses. I went to their open house at the Roanoke Higher Ed and spoke with their representative who was very helpful. She has been staying in touch with me and providing me with lots of information. She has been easy to get a hold of and answers all my questions in a timely manner. I don't start my curriculum until Oct 28 so I can't answer yet about how the workload is.
