3 College Junior

Campus Housing: Not a lot of parking areas, the school is very old, however it has been modernized.

3 College Junior

Facilities: Campus life is geared more towards academics, campus life is average when it comes to clubs and organizations

3 College Junior

Drug Safety: There is a low tolerance policy that prohibits drug use on campus

3 College Junior

Computers: The University has many computer labs, however I feel it is important to purchase a personal computer

3 College Junior

Diversity: The area is a conservative area the school is a Liberal Arts School.

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: I am a married man with children, I don't have an interest in picking up girls.

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: The quality of health is really good on campus.

4 College Junior

Campus Dining: The University has a cafeteria on campus and the food is delicious.

3 College Junior

Weather: The area does not receive extreme weather

Off-Campus Housing: I am a resident of the city and there are quite a few decent, less expensive areas for housing.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: I am looking for alternate forms of financial aid

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: I am a resident of the city where the University is, I know of all the different food locations, however a student might have a little trouble finding some of the alternate food locations

4 College Junior

Campus Strictness: Our University has a strict code of conduct.

3 College Junior

Parking: I attend an off campus location, however I am currently employed at the University, parking is some what difficult

Overall Experience: Averett is an outstanding place. I absolutely love it. Some of the teachers and advisors are slightly confusing but those who arent, are simply great! The peers you have are very friendly and you can make new friends in a heartbeat!

5 College Junior

Campus Strictness: The campus has a zero tolerance for alcohol and drugs. We have a dry campus at averett. The noise is not such a big deal from what i have seen but the students are respectful of others so that is not really a problem. Visitors in the dorms is pretty strict, you have to be with the person you are going to visit at all times, which is a good thing.

4 College Junior

Drug Safety: The drug scene at Averett University is not big at all. I have been there almost a whole semester and i have yet to see one person do a drug or be under the influence.

4 College Junior

Nightlife: Nightlife is pretty good around campus. There are many things that go on at night you just have to find the right one that is applicable to you. I would say go to house parties or parties on campus if there are any, that way you avoid the money pit.

4 College Sophomore

Weather: In Richmond the weather is always mild, whether it's snow or rain. The temperatures are mild also, but it can get pretty cold in the winter which can make walking to class a little bit of a pain. But you just learn to bundle up!

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: On the campus and in the classroom, everyone is given the same challenges, the same projects, the same respect, no matter skin color, religion, sexual prefrence. The student body is made of different age groups, different places in life, and yet each student is treated equally.

4 Recent Alumnus

Computers: The computer labs at Colby College are usually crowded at crunch times

2 College Sophomore

Scholarships: No one really wants to help or at least they don't act like it.
