Off-Campus Dining: Amazing off-campus options ....40 min drive away. If you have a car the options are there, and there's fast food 10 mins away.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Either Naples for expensive food (30 min drive) or Immokalee for fast food (10 min drive)

Off-Campus Dining: There are only a few restaurants on campus, so in order to get different food, students have to drive elsewhere to find places. The food on campus is god and cheap, however, making it easy for students to find a place.

2 Niche User

Off-Campus Dining: There is not much off campus dining being that the town of Ave Maria controls who they let in. The dining that's in the town looks good but I have not had the opportunity yet to try on campus dining.

Off-Campus Dining: The variety of off campus is very limited. Most places close at 7 or 9 everyday so if you want to go get a midnight snack you have to drive on into Immokalee.

The three off-campus restaurants that most Ave Maria students frequent (aside from places in Naples) are The Queen Mary Pub & Grille (The Pub), The Bean, and the Tropical Smoothie Café. The most popular of the three is The Pub, which has a good variety of foods, desserts, and, of course, drinks. Lots of events are held at or sponsored by The Pub, and even if you aren't old enough to buy alcohol, it's still a great place for socializing. The food takes a while to be made, but it’s definitely worth the wait. The quality of the food is very good, and even though it can be a bit pricey, it’s a great restaurant, especially for dinner.

The Bean and Tropical Smoothie are pretty much on par with each other, but The Bean is more popular for breakfast and Tropical Smoothie is better for lunch and dinner. If you want an excellent cup of coffee and a hearty breakfast, The Bean is definitely the place to go. If you want a smoothie and a flatbread or sandwich, then Tropical Smoothie is the place to hit up. However, this doesn’t mean there isn’t good breakfast food at Tropical Smoothie or good lunch items at The Bean, but they each have their specialties. The prices are also pretty good at both, though the cheaper of the two is Tropical Smoothie, though not by much. Either way, the food is great and the price is good, too. There are also all sorts of restaurants and fast food places in Naples, but you have to drive half an hour to get there, so most students just go to the places in town.
