Local Atmosphere: Clarksville is considered a city in Tennessee, but aren't there suppose to be more things to do in the city? Here our options consist of going to see a movie, bowling with friends, or shopping; which is why I have an empty wallet. They're fairs sometimes which usually turn out to be a blast, although prices are through the roof! From rumors, I've heard Clarksville is getting more unsafe everyday, but I haven't had any personal unsafe experiences since I've moved here. Our cops do a great job. We have one mall for shopping and its not the biggest, so most the time I take rips to Nashville for shopping! Clarksville is full of parks though for sports and outside activities fun for everyone. The attitudes towards students seem t vary. Sometimes I meet teachers that have such an impact on my life that'll make me never forget them, there are teachers that are mean just so that you'll put in effort to learn, and then they're are teachers that don't seem to care if you pass or fail; it's your life and your fault.

Scholarships: I'm still filling out paperwork. The verification process is essential whenever they ask you to do it.

Weather: Summer gets really hot, winter has ice storms and there are tornadoes year round.

Off-Campus Housing: I live with family and don't know much about housing in the area.

Local Atmosphere: I like Clarksville. It's got a wide variety of things to do and places to go. There are outdoor activities and recreation areas not to far away at Land Between the Lakes. It is beautiful around here.

Off-Campus Dining: There are a few places to enjoy off campus, but it can all get pretty old.

College Freshman

Transportation: I am from Clarksville, and I mainly live at home, so I have my own car that I use to get around the city.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: Some of the sports are popular, like basketball and football, but most of the other sports are ignored. The sports facilities are great though.

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: I joined a sorority this year, and I love it. I was expecting everyone to want to party like at UT, but they don't, which I am very happy about. We try to do a lot for our community.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: I have lived in Clarksville my whole life, so I am basically used to everything.

4 College Freshman

Academics: I have loved all my professors. The one thing I do like about Austin Peay is you always feel like you can go to your professor or counselor for any help.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Just wish we had more restaurants. They try to do well, but they just need more options.

2 College Freshman

Nightlife: It's like a smaller version of UT, everyone gets drunk, and if you aren't in to those kind of parties you are basically screwed.

4 College Freshman

Computers: Sometimes it's hard to get my wifi to load in my dorm, but over all APSU has good computer support.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: I like Austin Peay, I just don't think I fit in.
