5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The writing center is one of the best I've ever been to. The tutor are really really helpful. They took the time to help me with my essays (3). They are the best.

5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: There are numerous computer labs on campus available to students who are not able to use internet etc. elsewhere. Also the Library is a great place for printing because you are allowed FIFTEEN pages A DAY for being a student! Which I think is awesome!

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I am a philosophy major and the head of the philosophy department at Austin Community College Rio Grande Campus' name is Matthew and he is the greatest human being I have ever met. Joking aside he truly is the greatest professor I have ever had.

5 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I had no poor experiences regarding faculty flexibility while enrolled at Austin Community College. All of my professors were caring, helpful people who showed a genuine interest in my success which was very reassuring in times when I had little hope for success.

Student Body: Over the course of a year that I have spent at Austin Community College (Rio Grande Campus) I have not only seen, but interacted with every diversity type a fellow student could have. From classmates that could hardly speak English, to classmates whose worldviews were at a polarity to mine and everywhere in between! I love ACC RGC and would not mind taking more classes there in my future! I feel as though the experience I had there was an experience that all college students should have.

Academic Experience: Hard work ethic and responsibility is what I tried to achieve and ended up succeeding. I asked questions and went to tutouring if I needed.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: school has flexible classes to fit your busy schedule. except based on your career choice you have to go to different acc campuses.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: My school has all kind of classes to fit your schedule, and it is most affordable. Each professor actually cares about each of their students, and will work with you one on one to make sure you're understanding the material they're teaching.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: The library is a great place to be. They people who work in there are willing to help you with anything you need. There are many computers and when all used, you can check out a laptop and charger for a few hours if needed. Also when they do not have certain books you want, they are willing to transfer the books you want from another ACC campus.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: They make it easy to get around. If we don't have a car or are not in walking distance from the campus the metro buses stop right in front of it. Also to help with that, instead of having to pay every time you get on the bus ACC offers a green pass, which is a bus pass you can use through the whole semester. Each semester is a new one.
Also they offer programs for if you need help like with children, money, jobs, and so much more. they always have people around to help you with any struggles. And people are really nice,, willing to help you even on their own.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: The classes are big and small enough that the teacher can interact with each and every one of us. My teachers listen to all of our comments and what we have to say. They explain things fully with projects and assignments and will always answer your questions if you have any.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: It was easy for me to pick classes on days I am available though not all classes are available on the days I am. I am able to go to school on certain days while going to work on other days. I can transfer most of credits to a University if I decide to continue past an associates degree.

5 College Junior

Student Body: Every class I've been in or when I go around campus, people are nice and willing to meet new people. With everyone nice, it helps when you need help with assignments, and other interactions too. Even a simple trying to find a room, someone is always nice enough to help out.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: usually whenever you need something there is always someone who can help you or will direct you with someone who can help.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: The reason i chose this school was because of the low tuition costs and the flexible class schedules. I am able to work and study. The small environment makes it more personal too.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I belives it gives great opportunities and a lot of time to be a full time student with a full time job

1 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Its a pain because the advisers for financial aid don't tell you everything that you need to know.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I am a civil engineering major. I am very pleased to be able to take the classes required for core curriculum at acc. The classes are fairly easy to schedule and less expensive than that of a four year university tuition.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I appreciate the professors. They seem very interested in our success. I have been happy with the response I receive from my professors.

5 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I really like the online classes, once you get started it's pretty easy, I would recommend it.

5 College Sophomore

Career Services: This service is very good and they go the extra mile with you and for you.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: My experience has been very positive with online courses. The difficulty has varied greatly between subjects and professors. I think the main focus should be to make a schedule and stick with it. If you fall behind, it can really hurt you. All of my online courses have had professors who are very responsive to emails and questions. There is also a message board and the ability to email all the other students in the class for help.

Tuition & Financial Aid: They have been very helpful to me throughout the entire process

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: There are resources of course but not as many as I'd like there too be. We have of course our financial aid office whhich offers loans and grants and our Student life offers internships and jobs on and off campus but thats about it.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: My school offers programs and jobs to their students so that we can all make ends meet while earning our degrees. If we visit and participate in Student Life, a helpful organaization, then they will help open doors to helping hands. any extra help is really appreciated so I'm glad my school offers this to me.
