Student Body: The students are very driven and focused on school. There is little interaction but it can be a good sometimes. Everyone really respects each others space and views.

Academic Experience: I am enrolled in classes that will allow me to obtain a certificate in Business Leadership. So far, the distance learning classes seem to be very straight forward. Blackboard allows for easy access to clear expectations and progress. The materials for each class are affordable and informative.

Online Courses: I am currently enrolled in 2 distance learning courses for the first time.

Academic Flexibility: They're always there to help you when you need it. The instructors are great or at least the ones that I been having. The flexibility is great, I work full time and they offer some night classes which is very convenient for me.

Campus Resources: It all works pretty well. Every now and then I'll have trouble signing in to a library or tutoring center.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The times I've been to the libraries were nice. The libraries themselves were very nice. The tutors at their tutoring centers are typically very helpful. A few of them are a bit counterproductive when it comes to helping you finish homework. All of the campuses in general are very pleasing to the eye.

Campus Resources: The resources are excellent!! there is not a gym but the library and learning lab are great study areas.

Online Courses: Nervous at first, but I was soon eased as I finally felt comfortable.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am receiving a great education at a great price. I am very pleased with my classes and their material. As far as financial aid I was very lucky to receive a very helpful amount. The financial aid process was very fast and there are plenty of people to assist you if you need help with any forms or applications.

Student Body: They are pretty nice, friendly and personable. The school is diverse I will say.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Class registration was fairly easy, the advisors are very helpful.

Tuition & Financial Aid: First time applying for financial aid...it was pretty easy. Good education, worth the tuition.

Campus Resources: The staff at the computer lab are very helpfull. There is a computer lab almost in every building I think.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I think it's pretty easy to get in, compare to other community colleges I tried to enrolled in when I was in San Antonio. The process was reallly smooth.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The writing center is one of the best I've ever been to. The tutor are really really helpful. They took the time to help me with my essays (3). They are the best.

5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: There are numerous computer labs on campus available to students who are not able to use internet etc. elsewhere. Also the Library is a great place for printing because you are allowed FIFTEEN pages A DAY for being a student! Which I think is awesome!

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I am a philosophy major and the head of the philosophy department at Austin Community College Rio Grande Campus' name is Matthew and he is the greatest human being I have ever met. Joking aside he truly is the greatest professor I have ever had.

5 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I had no poor experiences regarding faculty flexibility while enrolled at Austin Community College. All of my professors were caring, helpful people who showed a genuine interest in my success which was very reassuring in times when I had little hope for success.

Student Body: Over the course of a year that I have spent at Austin Community College (Rio Grande Campus) I have not only seen, but interacted with every diversity type a fellow student could have. From classmates that could hardly speak English, to classmates whose worldviews were at a polarity to mine and everywhere in between! I love ACC RGC and would not mind taking more classes there in my future! I feel as though the experience I had there was an experience that all college students should have.

Academic Experience: Hard work ethic and responsibility is what I tried to achieve and ended up succeeding. I asked questions and went to tutouring if I needed.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: school has flexible classes to fit your busy schedule. except based on your career choice you have to go to different acc campuses.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: My school has all kind of classes to fit your schedule, and it is most affordable. Each professor actually cares about each of their students, and will work with you one on one to make sure you're understanding the material they're teaching.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: The library is a great place to be. They people who work in there are willing to help you with anything you need. There are many computers and when all used, you can check out a laptop and charger for a few hours if needed. Also when they do not have certain books you want, they are willing to transfer the books you want from another ACC campus.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: They make it easy to get around. If we don't have a car or are not in walking distance from the campus the metro buses stop right in front of it. Also to help with that, instead of having to pay every time you get on the bus ACC offers a green pass, which is a bus pass you can use through the whole semester. Each semester is a new one.
Also they offer programs for if you need help like with children, money, jobs, and so much more. they always have people around to help you with any struggles. And people are really nice,, willing to help you even on their own.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: The classes are big and small enough that the teacher can interact with each and every one of us. My teachers listen to all of our comments and what we have to say. They explain things fully with projects and assignments and will always answer your questions if you have any.
