Tuition & Financial Aid: It absolutely is not worth it if you are the unlucky son of a Gun who is not in district. The tuition is nearly the same price as a University! if you are coming from out of state or not in district You might as well go to a 4 year school

Academic Flexibility: Its a community college. education is lacking and the average student here isnt the brightest. The counselors and students make it seem as though there are two options to transfer. either UT or Texas state. I fealt that is the equivalent of asking me do I want a Golden platter or a half eaten corn dog that looks like its been lying in the sun for some while. In this respect I had to do a lot of research on my own to find out what school is best for me and it wasnt either of those schools. if you go here just keep your head down do your best and transfer out quick!

Academic Experience: The classes in the nursing program at these community college are incredibly challenging and I feel as though I am learning and kept on my toes with new material. I am have taken classes as a four year college and feel that I am getting a fantastic education

Academic Flexibility: I have been able to work my schooling around my own schedule but now that I am in the Nursing program I have really had to work my work around the schedule that they have for the classes. Luckily my job has been flexible with me but classes are set as well as clinical times once you pick to be in a program. The teachers and resources are fantastic for learning and I have found it super hands on.

Academic Flexibility: There is quite a bit of flexibility of my classes/curriculum here at ACC. I have been able to do quite a bit of Distance Learning classes at those work great with my schedule. So far I haven't dealt with any major issues while attending ACC, which I am so grateful for.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Simple process to get tuition covered by financial aid.

Academic Experience: I enjoy Austin Community College. I find signing up for classes quite simple, though I wish they offered the times I needed at campuses closer to me. Overall I think they are a great campus and have lots of wonderful professors.

Academic Flexibility: I had the option of going to a four year college or a community college and because i wanted to pay for my school by myself the flexibility that ACC has gave to me and a student is very rewarding i can be a full time student and have a part time job and still have that extra time to study. My classes fit my schedule because ACC gives me that convenience to fit my education into my daily activities.

Student Body: Austin Community College is exactly what it states We are in Austin there will always be an outcast but that will have plenty of friends and a jock that might get tutoring from that outcast. Overall my community college is a great way to meet new people and to learn interesting things about your specific study. Great Diversity and energy!!!

Career Services: The Post- grad services are very useful and willing to accomplish any students questions or concerns

Online Courses: I have not yet had an opportunity to take online courses i prefer classroom lectures

Campus Resources: The study abroad program looks excellent. I have never studied abroad but have only heard great things. There are many ACC campuses around Austin, so no matter where you live there is undoubtedly a campus near you. Even if you're not taking classes at a particular ACC you can still go there and study in their library, use their computers, or go and just hang out in the cafeteria. Very cheap parking passes, $15, and they work at all campuses. Honors program looks great on the resume/transcript.

Academic Experience: The teachers at ACC are extremely committed to their jobs. They all seem like they love what they are doing, and they want to see you succeed. All of my teachers have great office hours. Their office hours are there for you. One of my professors told us that if he looks busy grading during his office hours then he's not doing his job because those hours are dedicated to us.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Austin Community College is extremely affordable. I did not apply for financial aid, but I did move from out of district to in-district for my tuition went from roughly $800 a class to $300. Living in-district was definitely worth the move and has saved me a considerable amount of money over time.

Academic Experience: I am working on my Associate's in Business Administration. I have taken a lot of general study classes such as history, english, algebra, etc. Although these classes are interesting and I do learn a lot from them, they don't have much to do with business. The business classes I have taken don't give much insight as to how to perform in the actual business world. I feel they could give more useful information about current trends in business.

Student Body: Most people in my classes are willing to socialize, however most of us are extremely busy outside the classroom with work. Therefore, we only get to know each other in class. This makes it hard to attain friends outside of class. I have made a few friends from my classes, but they have all moved on to new schools and I rarely talk to them any more. Most students are hard working people who are trying to better themselves, and the most effective way is to be an introvert and study a lot individually.

Online Courses: The online courses at ACC work very well for my busy schedule I personally like online classes more then regular classes just because I have more fexliblity.

Tuition & Financial Aid: How they have Financial Aid set up at ACC is really easy but if you signed up for a payment plan and do not have the money when it comes to the deadlines you will be dropped from your classes with out giving you a late fee. Overall ACC Financial Aid is very easy and helpful.

Academic Experience: I believe I'm getting a great education where it matters like in the science, math and literature courses. Like I said before, many of our professors are also UT professors and they really know their stuff.

Campus Resources: Some of the campuses are older and don't have up to date models or technology but the newer campuses have it all. The athletic center at the Northridge campus is small and crowded but the Riverside campus has a huge athletic facility. There are always things to do and be a part of. You can help but come across a flyer.

Academic Flexibility: You can do absolutely anything! Oh, you want to be a nurse? They have a program for that. What about an automotive tech, doctor, artist, or lawyer? Well, they provide the basics and all you have to do is transfer when the time is right.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: I think it's amazing that there are UT-Austin professors that also teach at ACC. Basically, we are getting the same education at a much cheaper price.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: The computer labs are great if you don't own your own computer. Most students have their own so they really don't need to use the lab. I have never had a problem with anything. The only thing that sucks is when you get hungry and have to close everything up to extinguish your hunger. I also find that I'm able to concentrate more so at home than in the lab.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I'm used to paying about $30 per credit/unit. I pay about $80 or per credit/unit now. Since I had surgery last year, I am not qualified to receive financial aid till I pay 6 more credits out of pocket. It's a bit to afford for a college student.
