Drug Safety: There are drugs and alcohol at this school like every school but they do enforce it very well and your not judged if you don't drink or do them.

4 College Freshman

Parking: I don't have a car on campus this year but I always see that parking is good. However, there are no camera in the parking lots just an officers occasionally patrolling. therefore don't leave things in your car that are valuable and don't have any enemes.

Computers: I don't really use the computers at Au because I have a laptop. The internet has been rough this year because they are constantly trying to fix it. It usually doesn't work well after 9pm at night in my dorm building. The printers work well and the labs open til 2am and you can take out a laptop in the library if you want to work somewhere by yourself.

Facilities: There are alot of things to do if you stay on campus. We have intermurals and everything. They have alot of activities posted and alot of fun things to do. However sometimes on the weekends that hangout places are closed at 12 therefore those days that you want to stay up late there nothing really to do.

Facilities: My school is very average fro my major. If I was a nursing or Education major my grade would be higher because those programs are very good within my school. The food is alright depending on the day and the athletics here are great for some programs and others it can bevery challenging to get it.

Local Atmosphere: Aurora is a very calm town, and it is a very safe place. But you are only a 40 minute train ride away from Chicago. Chicago is an amazing city. There is always something to do. If you don't have a car you have to find someone who is willing to take you to the train station, which isn't very far from campus, but still.

Computers: Network works well, but it really sucks in dorms. Constantly trying to fix it cause even more network problems

Off-Campus Housing: You can find off-camus housing very easily, but you have to look for it yourself. Generally rent is very easy to pay, especially if you live with roommates, but it is definitely a lot cheaper than living on campus. There rarely is parking for people who do have parking permits, much less for commuters. The neighborhood is really safe. If you are commuting you will definitely need a car if you want to move freely.

Off-Campus Dining: A few restaurants in walking distance, many further with transportation.

Local Atmosphere: I love that the school is located in a neighbor hood because it feels like home and provides a safe environment.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: I love the athletics and wish i could be able to participate in them!

Campus Dining: I hate the food on campus its usually the same things every week. Not alot of variety and most of the time the food is poorly prepared and hard or cold.

Athletics: Are sports are a big thing at our school we have alot of athletes on campus and the newer sports we have welcome anyone to play if you talk to a coach which is usually very easy to get in contact with. Just because sports is a big thing doesn't mean non athletes can't be friends with athletes.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: The only thing that is really annoying is that if something goes bad in your building and no one fesses up to you EVERYONE in the building has to pay to fix it. We have NO cameras anywhere therefore in the freshman dorms and sometimes the parking lots alot gets damaged.

Scholarships: Scholarships are very available with a 26 or higher on the ACT.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: There is great diversity, but limited international students.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Everyone is pretty good looking. There are people of all sorts of looks and types. In general everyone is really easy to get along with and have their own sense of charm.

2 College Freshman

Parking: There is a $25 dollar a year cost to park on campus but that isn't bad. Parking fills up fast.

Facilities: There is always something different happening on campus. Everything is well kept.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: I love my school. It is small and everything is close. There is a very communal atmosphere.

2 College Junior

Campus Dining: There is a good variety of food options within 10-15 minutes of campus but the food made available on campus is just okay. I haven't had too many of their hot foods that are made to order but they're cold lunches leave something to be desired.

Nightlife: There really isn't a night life scene at AU. Basically whatever night life you had before is the night life you keep. No new experiences.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: The campus is not far from the main roads in Aurora. There is a lot of different choices and styles of food to choose from. Many of the pizza places offer discounts for students or send out coupons regularly. There is always the big fast food places to choose from, but there are also a lot of smaller niche dining places that offer very good food for fairly cheap prices. Not all of them are within walking distance, however.

4 College Senior

Weather: The campus small and buildings are within easy walking distance. Snow and rain rarely affect foot traffic (the school does a good job in clearing snow and ice). There is a texting service that will notify students if classes are canceled due to weather or emergency, which saves the hassle of commuter students not being properly informed. During fall and spring months the weather is nice enough to hang outside on the quad and many students can be found there kicking a ball around or studying/chilling under the shade of the trees.
