Campus Resources: The facilitie has a small workout center here in the hospital that students are allowed to use. The college recently built a new chemistry lab. The college has a very nice library with many resources and other quiet study areas for student to choose from. The college offers activities for student to become involved in and actually has a student activity coordinator who is very involved with the college and the students.

Online Courses: I love the convience of online courses. I don't have to drive anywhere and I can work at my own pace, given deadline dates and due dates. The only thing is that the interaction is little to none but you can communicate with emails and discussion boards. The workload seems to be harder than what you would have to do in the traditional classroom. For some this is not a good experience but I believe if you are good with the computer than you would prefer online verses classroom experience. I feel that the registration process was a little difficult but once you understand how it all works, it's not so bad. I feel I do better with online learning than the traditional classroom setting.

Campus Resources: less students make it easier to work with teachers one on one.

Academic Flexibility: I can always find a class in the times i have alotted.

Online Courses: i have not yet taken an online course at aultman but i have elsewhere.

Career Services: It's a hospital and they like to hire from within and the LRC has a list of hospitals that hire ADN RNs

Campus Resources: It's a small school so there aren't very many activities but student life figures things out for us to do

Student Body: I like aultman. There are many different kinds of students at Aultman. Old young and of all ethnicities. The professors are always there to help you if needed and the LRC is open for tutoring. There is also online tutoring available.

Academic Flexibility: The classes aren't very flexable, they aren't offered at different times of day. They are admitting to many students for the faculty that they have.

Student Body: The people at my school are of many different kinds of people. Young to old, different ethnicity, religions, and sex. Although the male population is much smaller we have a good amount of men. Talking in class is about the most I have done with other students and have spoke to very few outside of class. Making friends isn't a priority of mine my goal is focusing on school.

Academic Experience: The professors are available outside of the class which is good. The registration process is improving, but need more work. There is also the library and LRC that offer materials to help people who have different learning styles. The LRC tests studeent's to see what is the best way they learn which I have found to be very helpful.

Academic Experience: The lecture's aren't always nursing specific. Some times the instructors don't talk about class related information. Most of the instructors are well educated and very helpful. The clinicals are the best part because we get to do them in the hospital.

Academic Flexibility: It can be flexible for the most part. The school is kinda small so there are only so many classes offered at so many times.

Student Body: Most of my school consists of working-class people with full time jobs and family's. It seems like everyone at Aultman juggles a lot of things but still manages to have a good attitude. There are a lot of people there without family's also that are in there late teens or early 20's.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Worth the Cost – The tuition is high, but among the best in edu you can receive in Ohio.

Career Services: Student Services Entry to Exit from Aultman College of Nursing and Health Sciences – This is one of the most comprehensive programs around the stark county area. One of the best programs there are to experience. They make sure they provide the best in trainning as well as assistance in any area of need that a student may have in regards to education, employment and future career goals.

Academic Flexibility: Transfer Success – Upon entering into the Aultman College of Nursing and Health Sciences school of nursing; I had no problems with my credits being accepted from the degree of bachelor's in psychology that I had just earned. The process was smooth, the office staff were warm, understanding and inviting to questions and concerns that I had about my enterance.

Academic Experience: Classes Are Hard, but Very Helpful – I am a Nursing major, and it is very difficult. I have always been told that it is a very difficult major, but it was much harder than I expected. The program is very good at teaching critical thinking and analysis (which is important in the nursing field). They also do a very good job at preparing us for the NCLEX. Each of our quizes and tests is based on questions that may be similar to NCLEX questions. The workload is very big- but there is a lot to learn in a short amount of time. The labs are excellent. We have a simulation lab that allows us to have emergency situations without the threat of losing an actual patient. It allows us to learn how to get through tough situations so that we will be prepared when it happens in the 'real world'.

Tuition & Financial Aid: You Get What You Pay for. Before Aultman College, I went to a community college. I was used to my tuition being very low, but I was also used to bigger classes and professors who didn't really take much of an interest in me or my success as a student. When I recieved my first tuition bill at Aultman College, I had a bit of sticker shock. I couldn't believe how much more expensive the classes were than they were at the community college. Once I started my classes, though, I understood. The professors really do everything that they can to help us succeed. The classes are much harder, but you can't put a price on the education that we are recieving.
The financial aid office has been pretty helpful. They always have flyers posted about new scholorship opportunities and advice on ways to recieve aid or filling out the FAFSA. They also allow you to set up a payment plan if you do end up having tuition to pay. The only tip that I have is to make sure that you and the financial aid office are on the same page with what classes you have taken and when if you are transferring schools. I took a summer class before starting in the fall and the financial aid office did not know. Because of this, I recieved more aid in the fall semeseter than I should have and, therefore, did not recieve what I expected the spring semester and was left with a big tuition bill to pay off.

Campus Resources: It is very easy to use a computer on campus. there are plenty of computer labs avalable on campus and each lab has a costless printer for students and staffs. personal labtops are allowable on campus aslo.

Academic Experience: The Nursing Program – The nursing program at Aultman college is great.Because the college is a hospital based college, we have the opportunity to do hands on learning than other schools student would.
