4 College Freshman

Academics: Work load isn't bad, IF you time manage. The professors are helpful and approachable.

4 College Freshman

Academics: Its a large workload but the teachers are really helpful

3 College Freshman

Academics: As a political science/ economics major, my academic experience has been sort of lack-luster. The economics program here is almost non-existent (through AP credit, I have half of my major completed already). For political science, the program is suited for getting students into law school or into the business world with no real connections or tie-ins with real politics. There are some great professors here in political science (Dr. Weissburg is a gem), but the program itself is more of a novelty than a legitimate area. There are research opportunities in the major, but nothing like connections for internships or getting your name out there in politics. It's a decent program, but not great.

3 College Freshman

Academics: The academics balance out to an "okay" rating. I have learned some incredible things through the Honors program, but for a student not in the program, and mixed with my experiences in other classes, it's overall pretty standard. The professors are either kindly and helpful or conceited and arrogant. However, there's this strange sense of feeling like you're in high school all over again in many of the classes as there are a lot of "get to know each other games" and hand-holding. There really are some great people and great, enlightening classes at this school, but for the most part, it's a pretty average institution academically- you don't feel like you are at an elite college, but you don't feel like you are scraping the bottom of the barrel.

4 College Sophomore
