3 College Senior

Campus Resources: Not enough campus activities, financial aid staff is difficult and not very descriptive with explanations or information.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: Online courses is more relaxing than listening to long class lectures. You can take periodic brakes, and it seems to help me focus more on class assignments.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Haven't had issues with administration or other divisions. Everything is simple and easily accessible if done in a timely manner.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: They offer a good variety of classes that can benefit students with careers and family.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial aid is helpful. They do not offer student loans anymore so students like myself have to find outside assistants to pay for classes.

Academic Experience: Class registration process is a less than desirable experience. Very hard to get anything done and paperwork submitted properly. Professors vary, however most that I have had are on a power-trip and very hard to work with.

2 Recent Alumnus

Student Body: Majority of the student body is African-American. Many (students) are very easy to get along with but then there are others that just seem to bring the place down.

Academic Flexibility: Everything about this school is difficult ie: registration, financial aide, student accounts, etc. I have been a student at this school for 4 yrs now part-time. The admissions staff is very unhelpful in a sense as they only tell you bits of information, not everything you need to know; same goes for financial aid. There aren't any options for a student if you are TRYING to get into a program and miss the mark; there are no other options available other than wait around another year to get into a program. Specific classes only have one instructor and some instructors will not work with you and work schedule for example physics: one instructor, terrible instructor I might add; many complaints have been made about scoring and teaching methods yet the college refuses to handle the situation. TERRIBLE SCHOOL!! Do not waste your time and effort, IT IS A MONEY PIT!!

Campus Resources: There is a much needed cafeteria at the school. This is convenient for many students. Some students are droppd off by parents or friends who work or go to scholl as well. Therefore, they can't be picked up and taken to lunch everyday. some students have to catch the bus to school. They can eat in the cafeteria because they dont have a ride to lunch.

Campus Resources: My school is unique because of the fact that there a professors as well as students that are always willing to help and tutor those that are in need. The teachers will come in early and leave late if needed so that every student understands their work.

Academic Experience: I'm majoring in Practical Nursing at Augusta technical College. This will be lecture as well as hands on learning. i fell that it is going to be a greta learning experience for me because I learn a lot quicker by doing hands on.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I haven't had to tranfer any credits. The classes I have taken were flexible and allowed me to work at the same time. Now that I will be full time I will not be able to work around my schedule.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: The academics offered at this school is very fair. The professors are willing to take the extra steps needed to make sure that our work is understood. The professors are willing to stay sfter class or come in before class if there is a student that needs extra help.

Campus Resources: I think Augusta Tech has great campus resources. I like how they use the county bus systemt to provide free transportation to their students.

4 College Junior

Career Services: Augusta Tech career services is always trying to help you find a job of your career choice. The university has a career services job finding tool.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: Augusta Technical College does have a student center and a library and are famous for their annual field day! This college is definately a nice campus.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: Augusta Technical College has a diversity of Campus Resources. There are many computer labs, printing is always convienient and affordable on campus. Network reliability and speed is great! You can easily access the wireless and there is really isn't much need for a personal computer.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is very reasonable. The financial aid is good if you receive it but getting it is another story. They send you to talk to different people and none of them can help you and you end up right back at square one with nothing. You finally get somewhere after a couple of months of trying and then its too late for that semester to use the financial aid you received.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Class schedules are really flexible because you get to choose the time and days of the week you want to take the class. Once your in the class the teachers are sometimes flexible depending on who you are dealing with. Advisors are not flexible at all they are never free for meetings and you often have to wait to be seen.

3 College Junior

Student Body: Many teachers do not care about their students and are just there to be paid. There are few teachers who do care for the students and help them in any way possible.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: I only take about 2 classes at a time and I manage my time accordingly. I have no problems finishing the work.

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: Bandwidth is optimal and the teachers are always willing to let you work quietly while another class is going.

5 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Whenever I had a question they had an answer. My only gripe is the lack of resources to find information about scholarships for things other than STEM and pell/hope

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: If you enroll in the Dental Assisting program, these professors will whip you into shape. It's a pretty hard course with a large workload, but I enjoy it.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: There is always a computer open somewhere on campus whether it be in a lab in my building or the library.
