4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I am very happy with my choice going to my school. I know I still have a journey in front of me to get through before I graduate. The helpful guidance and direction is very important to a student. I see how the college opens the door for an individual; however, he or she has to walk through it.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think I am getting my money worth out of my tuition. I have financial aid with the Pell Grant. It only covers my tuition and not my books. Financial Aid office has been very helpful with directions. I wish I had more funds to cover for more of the other expenses that come with school.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The library is always accessible and the computers are always working correctly. It is a good place to study. We don't have many campus activities; however, my college does host a game day for the students one day out of the year in Spring. I think is it a great event.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The computers have always working when I needed them. The speed of service is great. When someone needs to print paper, they have to pay per sheet they print. Printing in black and white ink is reasonable but printing in color it can get expensive.

3 College Freshman

Online Courses: I took English 1 and American Literature online. The workload was a lot of reading and writing papers. I had to really discipline myself in order to get work done on time. I think with the two classes I took online, it was better than sitting in a classroom.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I have not quite gotten to the place I need to be to getting in to my major yet. I have 2 more classes before they evaluate me for progression. However, I can say I don't see many people going into the major I am pursuing; therefore, I am feeling pretty good about that. I won't have much competition.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: There are a couple of instructors that I could not get. They were difficult but I passed. I do think the core classes do prepare he or she to be ready for what is coming next as far as classes.

3 College Freshman

Student Body: At my school, there are more African American students compared to any other ethnicity. I am one of the minorities since I am Caucasian. I don't see nothing wrong or intimidating about being a minority of my school.

4 College Freshman

Career Services: In any area of education he or she pursues, I believe the academic counselors will vouch for any committed student to help he or she to get a job in their education area.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I have never had any hassles or frustrations with this college. If the student knows what he or she wants to do, I think the college will help with any students' goal.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: I have never had a problem with the communication between counselors and instructors. The facility is always well clean and representable. Even though Augusta Technical College in Georgia doesn't have an athletic team, the college does host a one day event called the Augusta Tech games. It is a with many events for the students to participate and socialize with other classmates.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Library is amazing! Easy access, friendly staff, and highly organized.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: When a person comes prepared to work hard, then they will be successful at Augusta Tech. I had a few hiccups with getting all of my transcripts from a previous school, but the problem was on the other end. The college i attended before Augusta Tech. was very slow to send the transcripts.

Career Services: I have not finished my degree and honestly haven't looked at much past graduation. My goal is set and I am sure that Augusta Tech will help me find a job in my field.
