Academic Flexibility: Registering for classes is a nightmare at the present time. They approved me for the Networking Program but when I went to enroll in classes, I was told I had to go see my advisor. If I'm approved for a program, I should be able to enroll in any class that's in my program as long as there is no prerequisite. I have to go see an advisor and after requesting I come see him, he has'nt responded as to when I can come.

Student Body: I've only taken one course so far, give me a minute to figure out the whole student body.

Overall Experience: I was looking for a school that I could take networking classes and start very soon. This school allowed me to do that.

Campus Resources: Registrar went above and beyond to help me.

Academic Experience: I attend class after working 8 hours; in the beginning, it seemed the teacher wanted to teach to a time standard instead of teaching the standard. Class if from 6 PM to 9:50 PM and you could tell she was struggling to find enough material to last until 9:50 but the first few days, that's what she did. After that, I think she understood that if she teaches to the standard, it doesn't matter if that takes 1 or 2 hours. People can still stay after class for questions, etc., but it's not necessary to keep the whole class when you don't have anymore material to put out.

Academic Experience: Class registration process is terrible. I was accepted into the Networking Program at Augusta Tech. They gave me a list of all the classes that I'll need to take to complete the program. I'm trying to register for next semester but I have to go and see the professor in charge of the Computer department for advising before I can register for my next classes. If you approve me for the program, that means I can take any class that doesn't have a prerequisite. They aren't allowing this, failing to understand that not all students are taking classes for the first time.

Campus Resources: There is nothing but vending machines on Campus. There is no athletic teams or student center. The campus activities are poorly executed.

Campus Resources: I would expect a better computer network system from a technical school. The internet is down on a regular basis As well as the school email system. The printers are typically out of ink and paper.
