Transportation: Since we're only a quick walk to the light rail that takes you as far as the Target Center or the Mall of America the transportation that Augsburg is great. It' fairly easy to request a ride to and from the light rail. There's also the new light rail that will also be easy to access.

Transportation: The ACTC bus has a nice schedule and is easy to use. I wouldn't take taxis around since the drivers are always rude, so bringing your own car or biking everywhere like I do is ideal.

Transportation: With Augsburg being a school located in the city, there are many different transportation opportunities to students. One, there is our DPS squad cars that will take students anywhere within a certain block/mile radius and it is completely free. Two, Augsburg is located a few blocks away from the Minneapolis light rail (which DPS will drive you to). Tickets for the light rail vary anywhere from one to three dollars depending on the time of day. Three, there is a Minneapolis bus system. Students can purchase bus passes through the school for a discounted price and there is a bus station not too far from campus. Four, taxis. Being in the city, there is of course taxis for anyone to call. And finally, all students are able to bring a car to campus. There are parking passes through Minneapolis students can buy for around twenty to thirty dollars and can park anywhere on the side streets around campus. There are also parking permits through the school that are actually quiet spendy (about three hundred dollars for a full year) and can then park in any of the lots around campus. Being a student at Augsburg there are so many options for how to get around, all with their own pro's and con's but ultimately there is no reason anybody should have for not being able to get somewhere.
