3 College Sophomore

Weather: Weather has an average effect on campus activity

3 College Freshman

Weather: This winter was particularly cold, and it was miserable! The heat is pretty unbearable as well. But the two weeks of spring and fall that we have are wonderful.

5 College Freshman

Weather: Almost always perfect- especially game days

College Sophomore

Weather: It does not affect anything in my opinion. Nothing at all.

The main complaint that students have with the weather in Auburn is the humidity. During summer and even into the fall, humidity can take its toll on students rushing off to class. However, the weather usually cools down around October or November. During winter, the weather is cold, but not overbearingly so. Keep your ears and eyes open for snow in the forecast, though! Every couple of years, even Auburn gets a few inches, and the schools generally shut down.

If you come from a place that has very harsh winters, then Auburn may come as a relief to you. However, the summers may be a surprise. On the other hand, if you are used to a heavily humid atmosphere, Auburn summer may be just right. Bring a variety of clothes for all seasons.
