College Sophomore

Weather: It does not affect anything in my opinion. Nothing at all.

5 College Senior

Weather: It can get hot, but it's usually moderate.

3 College Freshman

Weather: Depending on the weather it can be very troublesome to deal with. The rain is the worse because the campus usually floods pretty well in a lot of areas.

4 College Freshman

Weather: Spring comes early and fall stays late here, which is very nice. It will rarely snow in winter, and when it does, expect a fewdays off. Being in Alabama, there is a lot of precipitation, but it usually comes in downpours, which means there are plenty of beautiful, sunny days throughout the year.

3 College Freshman

Weather: August to November is hot, then December is bitterly cold. And up until March, it stays cold. So get used to wacky Alabama weather

The main complaint that students have with the weather in Auburn is the humidity. During summer and even into the fall, humidity can take its toll on students rushing off to class. However, the weather usually cools down around October or November. During winter, the weather is cold, but not overbearingly so. Keep your ears and eyes open for snow in the forecast, though! Every couple of years, even Auburn gets a few inches, and the schools generally shut down.

If you come from a place that has very harsh winters, then Auburn may come as a relief to you. However, the summers may be a surprise. On the other hand, if you are used to a heavily humid atmosphere, Auburn summer may be just right. Bring a variety of clothes for all seasons.
