For the most part, students don't have much to complain about as far as public transportation goes. They rely heavily on the Tiger Transit system that runs during the day and at night by call. However, most students still drive to destinations off campus.

Even though Auburn is a small town, a car is almost a necessity, especially if you are not from the town itself. Bikes are a popular choice for those students who do not own a car. The on-campus transit system is paid for by tuition, but unfortunately, the off-campus buses (LETA) require a fee in order to ride them.
