Most students claim to feel right at home with Auburn’s warm and friendly atmosphere. They enjoy the slow pace of a southern college town, and at the same time are able to engage in a variety of activities. While there are a few drawbacks, such as lack of entertainment during the breaks, larger cities are just a short drive away.

For those of you who crave the fast life of a big city, Auburn may not satisfy your craving. Some students may feel bored at times with what Auburn has to offer, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t anything to do here. With a little effort, students will find a plethora of enjoyable forms of entertainment, from hiking to swimming to watching movies.
