Parking: Horrible, Enough Said – Parking is a nightmare. Good luck getting a spot after 8am. Off-campus parking is extortionate and not even convenient.

Weather: Lovely on the Plains – Auburn's weather is amazing. It has four seasons, unlike my home on the coast, and the sky can take some amazing images. I spend countless hours outside playing, reading, studying, or running. When it rains, it pours, but that doesn't happen too often.

Parking: As necessary as it is to have a car at Auburn, the parking situation can be really frustrating. I received a ticket for leaving my car in a spot for five minutes to get something from a friend's room on campus, and had a ticket when I returned. If you can, it's best to take advantage of the Transit bus system because it's easy, convenient, and doesn't give you tickets.

Academics: Enthusiastic About Business – The College of Business at Auburn offers some basic, but applicable courses for their students, and these seem to be led by highly intelligent and relatable teachers. Their enthusiasm is very inspiring to me and I constantly find myself wanting to learn more. However, sometimes this enthusiasm causes my teachers to jump around more than is best suited for me. It does not halt my learning capabilities, but it definitely slows them down.

Athletics: Auburn is known for its football team. Gameday saturdays in Auburn are amazing and its not likely that Auburn has a lot of bad seasons due to the popularity of the school and its athletic program!

Off-Campus Housing: The off campus housing is great as well. The apartments that are off campus are not too far and if you dont feel like driving there is a transit that can take you to and from school each and every day!

Computers: The access of computers on campus is great. There are available computers to use in probably every major school affiliated building on campus, especially the library!

Drug Safety: Hardly an issue. Rarely hear any issues about drugs.

Off-Campus Housing: Off Campus – Apartments and condos are bountiful. Plenty of nice ones and affordable ones.

Academics: Politica Sceince – No issues, plenty of other students majoring with me. Classes challeneging enough to help me progress and understand my carrer.

Facilities: Keeping Traditions Alive – A unique aspect of Auburn is that we keep traditions alive every year. It is a great way to meet new people and encourage your school spirit and awareness. Plus, it's a great learning experience!

Overall Experience: I feel very comfortable here at Auburn University. The atmosphere is nice and there is plenty of variety when it comes to general interests and activities. Everyone is very helpful and glad to help. War Eagle!

Drug Safety: Unfortunately, it is very common to hear about drugs on Auburn's campus. Though a clean school for the most part, there are still easy ways to obtain them.

Off-Campus Housing: Reasonable Living – Most housing options are reasonable in terms of affordability and comfort. There is housing for all types of student, whether you want to be in a co-ed unit, a single-sex unit, a studio, a townhome, or even a trailer, which is extremely popular for professional students.

Local Atmosphere: Football Games and Fitness – Football is really big in our town. The entire community is 100% behind our team, and people flock from all parts of the state to be a part of the support system. Fitness is also important to many of the students at our school, and there are many places to walk, run, jog, bike, etc.

Facilities: Student Center – Auburn University Student Center is awesome. We have plenty of room to spread out and study, tons of places to sit and chill, and the couches and chairs are comfortable. There are several dining locations including a Papa Johns Express, a Chik-Fil-A, and a convenience store.

Computers: Technology on Campus – Auburn University provides free wifi on campus that is accessible at many locations just off campus as well. There are computer labs in most academic buildings that are available during regular hours. Printers are available in computer labs and printing can be done for a small fee. AUWiFi is relatively reliable and the speed is pretty good. The only problems I have experienced were after large storms.

Local Atmosphere: Life on the Plains – Auburn is a wonderful place to live! We are close to Birmingham and Atlanta. The campus is gorgeous with old and new buildings, it is beautifully landscaped and situated right next to downtown. The best thing about Auburn is the people. We have the nicest community and we truly are one big family as cheesy as that sounds :)

Weather: The weather at Auburn University is very diverse. At the beginning of Fall semester, it is still hot and humid from the Alabama summer. However, it soon cools off to a comfortable Fall feeling around September. The Winters are somewhat cold, and Spring always feels amazing. You could honestly not ask for better weather while at Auburn.

Facilities: General Campus Aesthetics – The campus pf Auburn University is by far, the most beautiful campus I have ever seen. It is always clean on campus, and even off campus, the streets are sanitary. The incorporation of trees found from all over the state help make Auburn's campus unique, and beautiful.

Academics: The professors at Auburn University are some of the best around. They are friendly, helpful, and will always go out of their way to help you out. The professors make you think for yourself, and research material on your own, instead of spoon-feeding you information in a powerpoint. They know their material, and how to present it. They want you to succeed here.

Guys & Girls: Fraternities and Sororities – They are huge at this school. If you aren't in one, I can guarantee you'll have at least 10 friends that are. Most girls on campus are pretty attractive. They also seem to be pretty smart too. I can't speak for their common sense, but they seem to do okay in the classroom. My girlfriend from high school is here and couldn't be happier. Every night there are couples holding hands going for walks around campus. So whether you're looking for a committed relationship or just a one-night stand, you'll have no trouble finding either at Auburn.

Campus Housing: Get the Village! The Hill and the Quad are your basic college dorms. Two to a room, two rooms share a bathroom. The Village was just put in a year or two ago and are unbelievable. They are basically on-campus apartments. And they are close to everything on campus, even the stadium. While it may cost a bit more than the other dorms or living off-campus, it's completely worth it for the comfort and convenience.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academics: Research Profs Knowledgeable – The professors at Auburn are mostly very experienced and involved in research projects. Some are more devoted to the research than to teaching which can be a problem. These usually defer to their TAs to assist students. Others are more approachable and are interested in investing in the student to see them succeed.

Local Atmosphere: Big School, Small Town – Auburn is a small community that probably would not exist without the university. Close-by Opelika is a bit larger and home to some industry. The atomosphere there more of a southern US working town with all the typical restaurant chains and retail stores. Auburn is home to a few of the same near the interstate and has a couple of charming local favorites for a burger or lemonade across the street from Samford Hall. It has a quiet and calm atmosphere for the majority of the year, but when football season rolls around, Auburn can become a crowded, bustling, and exciting place. Tailgating is a tradition that has to be experienced, with Tiger fans willing to share the products off the grill or the ice-cold beverage from the cooler. "War Eagle!" is a greeting among Auburn fans, alumni, and students alike and most will say that Auburn is the prettiest town on the plains.

Overall, students are very happy to be in Auburn. They love the people around them and the experiences that they get to have.

College is what you make of it. If you sit at home and don't do anything, then you won't enjoy yourself no matter where you go. With all the options you have offered to you at Auburn, you have to try to not have a good time. And with a student body that is so happy to be here, it's also hard not to get swept up in the excitement. As always, it's a good idea to visit a college or university before making a final decision. Make sure you're as happy and comfortable as you can possibly be.
